The cost of the Jungle master set is concentrated, but the job itself is modest: 150 slots against 64 cards in the set, which works out to about 2.3 slots per card. Normal finishes account for 100 of those slots and holo for 50. Nine to a side, the full master set checklist fills 9 double-sided binder pages. Jungle is the English-language Pokémon TCG expansion released on June 16, 1999, in the WOTC era, and the slot count is high for its size because of its print runs, not because of reverse holos.
Most Jungle master set slots come from edition splits. Normal 1st Edition takes 48 slots and Normal Unlimited 46, the same cards in two print runs, with 1st Edition identified by its edition stamp. The holo rares repeat the pattern: Holo 1st Edition, Holo Unlimited and Holo Missing Expansion Symbol each take 16 slots, the last being a version of the holo missing the set's expansion symbol. Two plain Normal slots remain, plus single slots for a Holo 1st Edition Scratch Error and a Holo Pre Release.
| Variant family | Slots | Priced | Share of value |

As of October 24, 2026, 124 of the 150 slots carry a price, and the Jungle master set cost is top-heavy. The ten most valuable slots hold 46 percent of the total value, while the lower-value half of the priced slots adds up to only 5 percent. By finish, holo slots hold 83 percent of the value and normal slots 17 percent. Condition matters too: an LP and up total sits 34 percent below the Near Mint total, and an MP and up total sits 40 percent below it, so the grade a collector accepts shifts the master set cost sharply.

Shares of the master set’s priced value, from the slot prices in the checklist above.
The hardest slots in the Jungle master set are mostly variants rather than main prints. The Holo 1st Edition Snorlax, a Rare, is the highest-value slot, followed by the Holo 1st Edition Flareon. The Holo Unlimited Jolteon ranks 3rd and is the main print of its card. The Holo 1st Edition Jolteon ranks 4th, and the Holo Pre Release Clefable, also a Rare, ranks 5th. Four of these five slots are variants, and together the five hold 29 percent of the master set's total value.
At 150 slots, the Jungle master set is about 0.7 times the era median of 226 slots, so it is a smaller job than most WOTC era sets. By master set value it ranks 13th among 16 comparable sets in its era. The previous set, Base Set, runs to 413 slots, and its master set holds similar value to Jungle's despite being far larger. The next set, Fossil, takes 269 slots, and its master set holds lower value than Jungle's.
A Jungle master set is one copy of every card AND every variant in the set — the 64 cards on this page, with their Normal, Reverse Holo and Holo prints each listed and priced on their own. Sign in and the checklist tracks what you own, in step with the Cardboard Alpha app.
The large NM-only figure is a complete catalog estimate when every printing has current NM pricing. LP, MP, HP, and DMG “and up” totals below it use the requested condition or a better available condition. These are summed reference prices, not a quote from one seller; a dash means the current market does not cover every printing yet.
“LP and up” means lightly played or better: the total uses LP when available, then NM as the better-condition fallback. The MP, HP, and DMG tiers follow the same pattern.
