The hardest slots in the BW trainer Kit (Excadrill) master set are not rare chase cards at all: they are plain Normal prints, including three different Fighting Energy slots. The master set takes 30 slots, exactly matching the 30 cards in the set, so every card adds one slot and there are no reverse holo duplicates to hunt. Of those slots, 29 are Normal prints and 1 is a Holo. The full master set checklist fits within 2 double-sided binder pages at nine cards a side. This is a small Black & White era product from the English-language Pokémon TCG, released September 1, 2011.
There is almost nothing to untangle in the BW trainer Kit (Excadrill) master set. It has just two variant families: Normal, with 29 slots, and Holo, with a single slot. No reverse holo run, set logo stamp, player rewards stamp or edition split adds extra slots, so the master set checklist matches the card list. A Normal slot is the standard non-foil print of a card, and the lone Holo is the one slot with a foil finish. The size of the job comes down to finding 30 specific cards rather than chasing parallel versions of them.
| Variant family | Slots | Priced | Share of value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal | 29 | 29 | 98% |
| Holo | 1 | 1 | 2.1% |
The cost of the BW trainer Kit (Excadrill) master set is concentrated in a few slots. As of October 24, 2026, all 30 of its 30 slots carry a price, and the ten most valuable slots hold 62 percent of the total value, while the lower-value half of the priced slots holds only 20 percent. By finish, Normal prints account for 98 percent of the master set's value and the Holo for 2 percent. Condition matters a great deal here: an LP and up master set totals 36 percent below the Near Mint total, and an MP and up master set sits 37 percent below it.

Four of the five hardest slots in the BW trainer Kit (Excadrill) master set are Fighting Energy, appearing at 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th by value, with the Lillipup at 2nd. All five are Normal prints, so none is a variant slot; the difficulty sits in the main prints of basic cards. Together these five slots hold 37 percent of the master set's total value. Energy cards are easy to overlook when working through a master set checklist, yet here they drive much of the cost of finishing the set.
At 30 slots, the BW trainer Kit (Excadrill) master set is a short job beside most master sets, though it matches the slot count of the set before it. The previous set, HS trainer Kit (Raichu), also has 30 slots and a master set that holds more value than this one. The next set, Kalos Starter Set, runs to 48 slots, and its master set also holds more value. Among its neighbours, then, this is the smallest or equal-smallest master set and the lowest in value.

A BW trainer Kit (Excadrill) master set is one copy of every card AND every variant in the set — the 30 cards on this page, with their Normal, Reverse Holo and Holo prints each listed and priced on their own. Sign in and the checklist tracks what you own, in step with the Cardboard Alpha app.
The large NM-only figure is a complete catalog estimate when every printing has current NM pricing. LP, MP, HP, and DMG “and up” totals below it use the requested condition or a better available condition. These are summed reference prices, not a quote from one seller; a dash means the current market does not cover every printing yet.
“LP and up” means lightly played or better: the total uses LP when available, then NM as the better-condition fallback. The MP, HP, and DMG tiers follow the same pattern.
