Pitch Black overview

Pitch Black arrived on July 17, 2026 as an expansion in the Mega Evolution era of the English-language Pokémon TCG, carrying the set code PBL. The card list runs to 84 official cards plus 36 secret cards above that count, 120 printings in all. The set is built around Mega Darkrai ex, which appears in four versions, and it leans on Darkness, Psychic, Water and Lightning Pokémon. Mega Chandelure ex and Mega Zeraora ex each appear three times, alongside the Trainer cards Gwynn and Gladion's Final Battle.
