The hardest part of the Neo Revelation master set is how few slots hold most of the value, though the checklist itself is modest. The master set takes 132 slots against 66 cards: the 64 official cards plus 2 secret cards, so each card adds 2 slots on average. Normal prints fill 100 of them and holos fill 32. At nine cards a side, the whole run fits in 8 double-sided binder pages. It is a small master set checklist for the English-language Pokémon TCG, from the WOTC era and released on September 21, 2001.
Every card in the Neo Revelation master set comes in two editions, and the slots split into four families: Normal 1st Edition with 50 slots, Normal Unlimited with 50, Holo 1st Edition with 16 and Holo Unlimited with 16. A 1st Edition print carries the edition stamp from the set's earliest print run, while Unlimited is the regular later printing of the same card. No reverse holo slots appear here, so completing the set means matching each card in both editions and both finishes.
| Variant family | Slots | Priced | Share of value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal 1st Edition | 50 | 50 | 11% |
| Normal Unlimited | 50 | 50 | 3.7% |
| Holo 1st Edition | 16 | 14 | 46% |
| Holo Unlimited | 16 | 16 | 39% |
The Neo Revelation master set cost is concentrated at the top. Its ten most valuable slots hold 51 percent of the total value, while the lower-value half of the priced slots adds up to only 2 percent. Holo slots account for 82 percent of the value and normal slots for the other 18 percent, even though normal prints make up most of the checklist. Totals as of October 24, 2026 cover 130 of the 132 slots, since 130 of the 132 slots carry a price. An LP and up total sits 10 percent below the Near Mint total, and an MP and up total sits 23 percent below it.

Shares of the master set’s priced value, from the slot prices in the checklist above.
Five slots hold 31 percent of the Neo Revelation master set's total value. Shining Gyarados in its Holo Unlimited print, a Rare, ranks first. The next four are all Holo 1st Edition variants of Rare cards: Entei, Houndoom, Raikou and Ho-oh. That is the detail that catches master set collectors out, because the four slots behind the top spot are not the cards' main prints but their 1st Edition holo variants, and finishing the set means sourcing every one of them.
At 132 slots, the Neo Revelation master set is about 0.6 times the era median of 226 slots, so it is a smaller job than most WOTC era sets. By master set value it ranks 6th among the 16 comparable sets of its era. Southern Islands, the set before it, has only 18 slots and a lower-value master set. Neo Destiny, the set after it, runs to 226 slots and holds higher master set value.

A Neo Revelation master set is one copy of every card AND every variant in the set — the 66 cards on this page, with their Normal, Reverse Holo and Holo prints each listed and priced on their own. Sign in and the checklist tracks what you own, in step with the Cardboard Alpha app.
The large NM-only figure is a complete catalog estimate when every printing has current NM pricing. LP, MP, HP, and DMG “and up” totals below it use the requested condition or a better available condition. These are summed reference prices, not a quote from one seller; a dash means the current market does not cover every printing yet.
“LP and up” means lightly played or better: the total uses LP when available, then NM as the better-condition fallback. The MP, HP, and DMG tiers follow the same pattern.
