The Dragons Exalted master set comes down to its variants: 219 slots from a set of 128 cards, which works out to about 1.7 slots per card. The set lists 124 official cards with 4 secret rares above that count. Normal prints fill 118 slots, reverse holos 89 and holos 12. Laid out nine to a side, the master set checklist fills 13 double-sided binder pages. This is the English-language Pokémon TCG expansion from the Black & White era, released August 15, 2012.
Only three variant families make up the Dragons Exalted master set: Normal with 118 slots, Reverse Holo with 89 and Holo with 12. There are no stamped or special editions to chase. The extra slots come almost entirely from reverse holos, which exist for the Common, Uncommon and Rare cards in the set. A reverse holo is the same card printed with the foil pattern across the card body rather than the art box, and it sits in its own binder pocket beside the standard print. The holo slots are the cards printed with a foil art box.
| Variant family | Slots | Priced | Share of value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal | 118 | 113 | 86% |
| Reverse Holo | 89 | 89 | 12% |
| Holo | 12 | 12 | 2.1% |
Value in the Dragons Exalted master set is concentrated at the top. The ten most valuable slots hold 79 percent of the total, and the lower-value half of the priced slots holds just 2 percent. By finish, normal prints carry 86 percent of the value, reverse holos 12 percent and holos 2 percent. Of the 219 slots, 214 carry a price, as of October 24, 2026. A master set cost for this set is therefore mostly a question of the top few slots, while the long tail of commons and uncommons adds very little.

A handful of slots decides how hard the Dragons Exalted master set is to finish. The five hardest are Giratina-EX, Mew-EX, Ho-Oh-EX and Rayquaza-EX, all Ultra Rare, plus Krookodile, a Secret Rare. Together they hold 58 percent of the master set's total value. All five are the card's main Normal print rather than a variant, so the difficulty here sits in the headline rares and not in a hidden reverse holo. Finishing the reverse holo run is mostly a matter of patience, while these five set the real pace.
At 219 slots, the Dragons Exalted master set is about 1.2 times the era median of 184 slots among Black & White sets. By master set value it ranks 8th of the 12 comparable sets in its era. The previous set, Dark Explorers, has 207 slots and a master set that holds higher value. The next set, Dragon Vault, is a small set of only 21 slots, and its master set holds lower value. Dragons Exalted sits as a moderately large, mid-value job for its era.

A Dragons Exalted master set is one copy of every card AND every variant in the set — the 128 cards on this page, with their Normal, Reverse Holo and Holo prints each listed and priced on their own. Sign in and the checklist tracks what you own, in step with the Cardboard Alpha app.
The large NM-only figure is a complete catalog estimate when every printing has current NM pricing. LP, MP, HP, and DMG “and up” totals below it use the requested condition or a better available condition. These are summed reference prices, not a quote from one seller; a dash means the current market does not cover every printing yet.
“LP and up” means lightly played or better: the total uses LP when available, then NM as the better-condition fallback. The MP, HP, and DMG tiers follow the same pattern.
