Power Keepers sits late in the EX era of the English-language Pokémon TCG, an expansion released on February 17, 2007 under the set code PK. It was the final stop on the way out of the series, arriving between Dragon Frontiers and the start of Diamond & Pearl. The card list runs to 108 official cards, with 108 printings in the catalog, so there are no secret cards beyond the printed count. It leans on Colorless, Psychic, Fighting and Fire Pokémon, and its headline cards are the star Eeveelutions Jolteon, Vaporeon and Flareon alongside a run of ex cards such as Salamence ex.
The pull ladder in Power Keepers is short: commons, uncommons and rares, with 45 of the 108 cards at the rare tier and no separate chase-tier rarity above it. The most valuable cards are the three Eeveelution stars, Jolteon ☆ first, then Vaporeon ☆ and Flareon ☆, all illustrated by Masakazu Fukuda, followed by Salamence ex and Absol ex. Value is heavily concentrated, with the top five cards holding 80 percent of the set's total card value, so most of the card list carries little weight next to that handful of rares.
As of October 2026, Power Keepers holds the 8th highest total card value among the 16 comparable EX sets, about equal to the era median, and its Jolteon ☆ also ranks 8th among the era's most valuable single cards. Trading activity ranks 12th in the era, and across the whole game the set ranks 17th by total card value among 130 comparable sets. At 108 printed cards it is about the same size as the era median of 107. It followed Dragon Frontiers, which holds more total value, and came before Diamond & Pearl, which holds less.

Completing Power Keepers means finding all 108 printings, and every one of them is priced. Because the top five cards carry 80 percent of the set's total card value, the cost of a full set is driven by a few star and ex rares, while the remaining cards fill the list cheaply by comparison. Sealed product for the set is a small line of three items: a booster box, a booster pack and a blister.
