Pitch Black, released July 17, 2026, is an expansion in the Mega Evolution era of the English-language Pokémon TCG, catalogued under the set code PBL. It carries 84 official cards with 36 secret cards above that count, 120 printings in all. The set is built around Mega Darkrai ex, which appears in four versions, and it leans on Darkness, Psychic, Water and Lightning Pokémon. Mega Chandelure ex and Mega Zeraora ex each turn up three times, as do the Trainers Gladion's Final Battle and Gwynn, so several of its headline names come in more than one rarity.
