Release date, card count, chase cards and how it compares with the Scarlet & Violet era.
Paradox Rift is an English-language Pokémon TCG expansion in the Scarlet & Violet era and series, released on November 3, 2023 under the set code PAR. The card list runs to 182 official cards, with 84 secret cards numbered above that count, for 266 printings in all. The set leans on Water, Fighting, Colorless and Psychic Pokémon, and it gives several ex cards more than one version: Garchomp ex, Iron Valiant ex and Roaring Moon ex each appear four times, while Altaria ex and Gholdengo ex appear three times each.
The Paradox Rift pull ladder climbs from commons, uncommons and rares through double rares and ultra rares to illustration rares, special illustration rares and hyper rares, with 104 chase-tier cards in total and the secret cards numbered past the printed 182. Illustration rares lead the most valuable cards: Groudon from Nurikabe sits first, followed by Yuu Nishida's Morpeko and OKACHEKE's Plusle and Minun. Altaria ex is the highest special illustration rare in 5th place. The top five cards hold 26 percent of the set's total card value, a moderate concentration.

Completing Paradox Rift means tracking all 266 printings, and every one of them is priced. Because the top five cards hold only 26 percent of the set's value, the cost of a full run is spread across the 104 chase-tier cards rather than resting on a few pulls. The sealed line has 31 products, built around booster boxes and cases, Elite Trainer Boxes, blisters, Build & Battle Boxes and booster bundles and packs, which gives collectors several ways to open into the set.
