10 cards in Next Destinies sit at one of its hit rarities. See this set's hits page for the full breakdown by rarity.
The rarity ladder runs from commons and uncommons through a large block of rares up to 10 chase-tier cards: 6 Ultra Rares and 4 Secret Rares, with the secrets numbered beyond the printed 99. Reshiram-EX is the most valuable card in the set, followed by the Secret Rare Zoroark, then Zekrom-EX, Mewtwo-EX and Kyurem-EX. Illustrator 5ban Graphics drew every one of the top eight cards, and also holds the most credits of any artist in the set. Value is heavily concentrated, with the top five cards holding 60 percent of the set's total card value.
As of October 2026, Next Destinies holds the 5th highest total card value of the 12 comparable Black & White sets, about equal to the era median, and 54th across the whole game. Its most valuable card ranks 8th in the era, while trading activity places it 4th. At 99 printed cards it is smaller than the era median of 111. It followed Noble Victories, which holds less total value, and came before Dark Explorers, which holds more. English collectors saw its cards first in the Japanese sets BW3: Psycho Drive and BW3: Hail Blizzard, released September 16, 2011.

A complete run of Next Destinies means chasing all 103 catalog printings, and every one of them is priced. Because the top five cards hold 60 percent of the set's total card value, the cost of finishing the card list is driven mostly by a few EX and Secret Rare cards, while the commons, uncommons and rares make up the inexpensive bulk. The sealed line includes 9 products, among them a booster box, booster packs, tins and decks.
