Crimson Invasion is a Sun & Moon era expansion in the English-language Pokémon TCG, released on November 3, 2017 under the set code CIN. The card list runs to 111 official cards plus 14 secret cards above that count, and it leans on Water, Psychic, Colorless and Grass Pokémon. Several GX Pokémon appear in three versions each, including Alolan Exeggutor GX, Alolan Golem GX, Buzzwole GX, Guzzlord GX and Gyarados GX. Gyarados GX is the headline name, holding the top two of the set's most valuable cards between its Secret Rare and Ultra Rare printings.
The pull ladder in Crimson Invasion climbs from commons, uncommons and rares up to 19 Ultra Rares and 13 Secret Rares, 32 chase-tier cards in all, with the secret cards numbered past the printed 111. The most valuable cards start with the Secret Rare Gyarados GX, followed by the Lusamine Ultra Rare, a second Gyarados GX Ultra Rare and the Rare Gengar. Gyarados GX, Alolan Exeggutor GX and Nihilego GX all come from the illustrator 5ban Graphics, who has 28 cards in the set. The top five cards hold 40 percent of the set's total card value, a moderate concentration for a set of this size.
As of October 2026, Crimson Invasion holds the 14th highest total card value among the 16 comparable Sun & Moon sets, about 0.3 times the era median, and its most valuable single card also ranks 14th in the era. It ranks 11th for trading activity in the era and 115th for total value across the whole game. At 111 official cards it runs smaller than the era median of 148. It followed Shining Legends and came before Ultra Prism, and both of those hold more total value. Its cards first appeared in Japan in Ultradimensional Beasts and Awakened Heroes, both released on September 15, 2017.

The full run of Crimson Invasion is 125 printings, with 124 of them priced, so the card list is almost fully tracked. Because the top five cards carry 40 percent of total value while the rest of the run is spread thin, the cost of a complete set depends heavily on landing the Gyarados GX Secret Rare and the Lusamine. The sealed line includes 20 products, with a booster box, an Elite Trainer Box, booster packs, blisters, decks and premium collections among them.
