Release date, card count, chase cards and how it compares with the Scarlet & Violet era.
Twilight Masquerade is an expansion in the Scarlet & Violet era of the English-language Pokémon TCG, sitting between Temporal Forces and Shrouded Fable in the 2024 release run. Its release date was May 24, 2024, under the set code TWM. The card list holds 167 official cards plus 59 secret cards above that number, for 226 printings in all. The set leans on Grass, Water, Fighting and Psychic Pokémon, and it is built around the Ogerpon ex cards in their mask forms. Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex and Teal Mask Ogerpon ex each appear in four versions, with Applin, Carmine and Cornerstone Mask Ogerpon ex printed three times apiece.
The chase cards in Twilight Masquerade sit across a wide rarity ladder, with 79 chase-tier cards running from illustration rares and ultra rares through double rares, ACE SPEC rares and hyper rares to the special illustration rares at the top. The secret cards are numbered past the printed 167. Greninja ex in special illustration rare, illustrated by akagi, is the most valuable card, followed by the special illustration rare Perrin by GIDORA, then Narumi Sato's Eevee illustration rare and Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex. The top five cards hold 50 percent of the set's total card value, so half the worth rests in a small group of pulls.

A complete Twilight Masquerade card list runs to 226 printings, and all 226 are priced. Because the top five cards hold half of the set's total card value, the cost of finishing a master set is driven by those few special illustration rares and the Eevee illustration rare, while the commons and uncommons that fill most of the run add little. The sealed line is broad at 24 products, led by blisters, Elite Trainer Boxes, booster packs and Build & Battle Boxes, and it also includes a booster box, a booster bundle and a booster case.
