The Triumphant master set runs to 224 slots, against 103 cards in the set, which is 102 official cards plus 1 secret rare. Each card adds about 2.2 slots on average, split across 100 normal prints, 93 reverse holos and 31 holos. Laid out nine to a side, the full run fills 13 double-sided binder pages. It is a mid-sized job for a HeartGold & SoulSilver era expansion in the English-language Pokémon TCG, released on November 3, 2010, and the master set checklist is mostly a matter of matching each card to its extra finishes.
Most of the Triumphant master set comes from three families: 90 Reverse Holo slots, 79 Normal slots and 25 Holo slots. Reverse holos are available for Common, Uncommon, Rare and Holo Rare cards, which is why that family is so large. The rest are the special families: three Normal prints credited to David Cohen, Gustavo Wada and Christopher Kan, with six, six and two slots, plus two Holo Foil Cracked Ice slots and two Holo Jumbo slots. A Cracked Ice holo carries a distinct foil pattern, and a jumbo is an oversized print, so each needs its own binder pocket.
| Variant family | Slots | Priced | Share of value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reverse Holo | 90 | 90 | 34% |
| Normal | 79 | 79 | 4.5% |

| Normal Ross Cawthorn | 2 | 2 | <1% |
| Normal Zachary Bokhari | 2 | 2 | <1% |
| Reverse Holo Player Rewards Program | 2 | 0 | — |
| Holo Set Logo | 1 | 1 | 1.5% |
| Holo Set Logo Staff | 1 | 1 | 3.2% |
| Normal Chase Moloney | 1 | 1 | <1% |
| Normal Igor Costa | 1 | 1 | <1% |
| Normal Shuto Itagaki | 1 | 1 | <1% |
| Reverse Holo Foil League | 1 | 1 | <1% |
The Triumphant master set cost is concentrated at the top. The ten most valuable slots hold 53 percent of the total, while the lower-value half of the priced slots adds up to only 4 percent. By finish, holos carry 59 percent of the value, reverse holos 35 percent and normal prints 6 percent. As of October 24, 2026, 220 of the 224 slots carry a price. Condition moves the total a great deal: an LP and up set sits 25 percent below the Near Mint total, and an MP and up set sits 48 percent below it.

A handful of slots make the Triumphant master set hard to finish. The Holo Gengar and Holo Mew, both Rare PRIME, lead the list in that order, followed by the Holo Darkrai & Cresselia LEGEND and the Holo Absol, another Rare PRIME. Fifth is the Reverse Holo Dragonite, a Rare. That last slot is a variant rather than the card's main print, yet it ranks among the five highest-value slots in the master set. Together these five slots hold 36 percent of the master set's total value.
At 224 slots, the Triumphant master set sits about equal to the era median of 224 slots. By master set value it ranks 4th among the 5 comparable sets of the HeartGold & SoulSilver era. Its neighbours both hold more value: the previous set, Undaunted, has 186 slots and a higher-value master set, and the next set, Call of Legends, has 205 slots and also a higher-value master set. Triumphant therefore asks for more slots than either neighbour while holding less of the era's value.

A Triumphant master set is one copy of every card AND every variant in the set — the 103 cards on this page, with their Normal, Reverse Holo and Holo prints each listed and priced on their own. Sign in and the checklist tracks what you own, in step with the Cardboard Alpha app.
The large NM-only figure is a complete catalog estimate when every printing has current NM pricing. LP, MP, HP, and DMG “and up” totals below it use the requested condition or a better available condition. These are summed reference prices, not a quote from one seller; a dash means the current market does not cover every printing yet.
“LP and up” means lightly played or better: the total uses LP when available, then NM as the better-condition fallback. The MP, HP, and DMG tiers follow the same pattern.
