Silver Tempest arrived on November 11, 2022 as an expansion in the Sword & Shield era of the English-language Pokémon TCG, carrying the set code SIT. It lists 195 official cards plus 20 secret cards above that count, for 215 printings in all. Lugia is the draw: Lugia V is printed in three versions, and the headline cards are Lugia V and Lugia VSTAR, with Unown V and Regidrago V close behind. Trainer cards such as Brandon, Candice, Furisode Girl and Lance also appear in multiple versions, and the Pokémon types it leans on are Psychic, Grass, Colorless and Water.

71 cards in Silver Tempest sit at one of its hit rarities. See this set's hits page for the full breakdown by rarity.
The Silver Tempest card list climbs from commons and uncommons through holo rares to 71 chase-tier cards, with 20 secret rares numbered past the printed 195. Lugia V in its Ultra Rare form is the most valuable card, illustrated by kawayoo, followed by a Secret Rare Lugia VSTAR by PLANETA Mochizuki, Toshinao Aoki's Unown V, a second Lugia VSTAR and Regidrago V. Those top five cards alone hold 65 percent of the set's total card value, so the most valuable cards here are a short list and the remainder of the set sits well below them.
As of October 2026, Silver Tempest holds the 5th highest total card value of the 17 comparable Sword & Shield sets, about 1.7 times the era median, and its top card ranks 4th among the era's single most valuable cards. It ranks 4th for trading activity in the era and 95th of 130 sets across the whole game. At 195 official cards it is about the same size as the era median of 189. It followed Lost Origin, which holds more total value, and came before Crown Zenith, which holds less. Its cards first appeared in Japan in S12: Paradigm Trigger, released October 21, 2022, which shares 54 cards with it.

A full Silver Tempest run means 215 printings, and all 215 are priced. Because the top five cards carry 65 percent of the set's total card value, the cost of completion is driven mostly by a handful of Lugia, Unown and Regidrago cards rather than by the many commons and uncommons. The secret rares and chase-tier cards make up the harder end of the list. Sealed product is plentiful, with 27 products including a booster box, Elite Trainer Boxes, booster bundles, Build & Battle Boxes and blister packs.
