Secret Wonders came out on November 1, 2007, as an expansion in the Diamond & Pearl era of the English-language Pokémon TCG, carrying set code SW. It holds 132 cards, with no secret cards above the printed count. The set leans on Psychic, Grass, Colorless and Water Pokémon, and Gardevoir is the one name printed more than once, appearing in two versions. Its headline cards are Lugia, Gardevoir, Mew and Charizard, all holo rares at the top of the value ladder, which makes the Secret Wonders card list a showcase of familiar names rather than a deep bench of new ones.
The Secret Wonders pull ladder runs from 45 commons and 41 uncommons up through 24 rares and 20 Rare Holo cards, then tops out at just two chase-tier Rare Holo LV.X cards. Lugia, a Rare Holo illustrated by Kazuyuki Kano, is the most valuable card, ahead of the Rare Holo LV.X Gardevoir by Ryo Ueda. Mew by Kagemaru Himeno, Charizard by Daisuke Ito and Blastoise follow in the holo tier. Value is concentrated: the top five cards hold 62 percent of the set's total card value, so the chase cards here are a small group, and a handful of holos define the market.
As of October 2026, Secret Wonders ranks 8th by total card value among the 11 comparable Diamond & Pearl sets and 72nd across the whole game, with a master set value about 0.9 times the era median. Its most valuable card, Lugia, ranks 6th among the era's top cards, and it is 10th for trading activity. At 132 printed cards it sits about level with the era median of 123. It followed Mysterious Treasures, which holds less total value, and came before Great Encounters, which also holds less. Its cards first appeared in Japanese in DP3: Shining Darkness, released July 5, 2007, with 114 shared cards.

A full Secret Wonders run is 132 printings, and all 132 are priced, so the whole checklist can be tracked. Because 62 percent of total card value sits in the top five cards, the cost of a complete set depends mostly on a few holos, while the commons, uncommons and plain rares fill out the rest cheaply by comparison. The sealed line here is small: a booster box and a booster pack.
