Prismatic Evolutions is a Scarlet & Violet expansion released on January 17, 2025, sitting between Surging Sparks and Journey Together in the English-language Pokémon TCG calendar. Its set code is PRE. The set lists 131 official cards, with 49 secret cards numbered above that count, for 180 catalog printings in all. The Eevee evolution ex cards headline it, led by Umbreon ex, Sylveon ex, Leafeon ex and Espeon ex. Teal Mask Ogerpon ex and Terapagos ex each appear in three versions, while trainers such as Black Belt's Training and Professor's Research are printed four times apiece. Colorless, Psychic, Grass and Water are the types it leans on most.
Prismatic Evolutions runs from commons and uncommons up through rares to a chase tier of 80 cards: double rares, ultra rares, ACE SPEC rares, hyper rares and 32 special illustration rares. The secret cards sit above the printed 131, so the best pulls fall outside the official count. The special illustration rares carry the value: Umbreon ex by YASHIRO Nanaco ranks first, then Sylveon ex by Cona Nitanda, Leafeon ex by Jiro Sasumo and Espeon ex by sui. The top five cards alone hold 59 percent of the set's total card value, so a few Eevee evolutions define the market for the whole set.
As of October 2026, Prismatic Evolutions holds the highest total card value of the 16 comparable Scarlet & Violet sets, about 3.8 times the era median, and its Umbreon ex is the era's single most valuable card. It ranks 3rd for trading activity in the era and 30th for total card value across the whole game. At 131 official cards it runs smaller than the era median of 164. Surging Sparks, which came before it, holds less total value, and Journey Together, which followed, also holds less. Ninety-six of its cards first appeared in the Japanese set Terastal Fest ex, released December 6, 2024.

A complete Prismatic Evolutions card list runs to 180 printings, and all 180 are priced. Because the top five cards hold 59 percent of the set's total card value, the cost of a full master set is driven mostly by those few Eevee evolution special illustration rares, while the commons, uncommons and regular rares fill out the rest cheaply by comparison. The sealed line is wide, with 43 products including Elite Trainer Boxes, displays, booster bundles, mini tins, booster packs, blisters and binder collections, alongside a range of other sealed items.
