The POP Series 7 master set is built on variants: it comes to 28 slots from only 17 cards, an official count of 17, because several cards carry more than one print. That works out to about 1.6 slots per card, with 21 slots in normal finish and 7 in holo. The whole master set fits on 2 double-sided binder pages at nine cards a side, a compact job for an EX era promo set released on March 1, 2008 for the English-language Pokémon TCG.
Most of the POP Series 7 master set is the 17 normal prints, with 6 holo slots layered on top. The rest is what makes the master set checklist more than a simple card count: three Normal Jason Klaczynski slots and one Normal Michael Pramawat slot, each a separate entry for a name-tagged version of a card, plus a single Holo Foil Cosmos slot. A collector treats each of those as its own pocket in the binder, even though the card underneath may already be filled by its standard print.
| Variant family | Slots | Priced | Share of value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal | 17 | 17 | 50% |
| Holo | 6 | 6 | 42% |
| Normal Jason Klaczynski | 3 | 3 | 2.7% |
| Holo Foil Cosmos | 1 | 0 | — |
| Normal Michael Pramawat | 1 | 1 | 4.9% |
The master set cost for POP Series 7 is concentrated at the top. Its ten most valuable slots hold 72 percent of the total value, while the lower-value half of the 27 priced slots among the 28 holds just 13 percent. Normal finish accounts for 59 percent of the value and holo for 41 percent. Condition matters a great deal: as of October 24, 2026, the LP and up total sits 46 percent below Near Mint, and the MP and up total sits 66 percent below it.

A handful of slots decide whether the POP Series 7 master set gets finished. The Holo print of the Rare Latias ranks first in value, ahead of the Normal Flaaffy, an Uncommon, and the Normal Latias. The Holo Latios and Holo Gallade, both Rares, follow. Together the five hardest slots hold 44 percent of the master set's total value. Three of them are holo variants rather than main prints, so a collector who owns the standard Latias still has the higher-value Holo Latias slot to fill.
At 28 slots, the POP Series 7 master set is about 1.2 times the era median of 24 slots for EX era sets. By master set value it ranks 8th among 10 comparable sets of its era, so it is a modest undertaking in cost as well as size. POP Series 6 is the previous set at 25 slots, and its master set holds higher value. POP Series 8 is the next set at 36 slots, with a master set holding lower value despite the larger slot count.

A POP Series 7 master set is one copy of every card AND every variant in the set — the 17 cards on this page, with their Normal, Reverse Holo and Holo prints each listed and priced on their own. Sign in and the checklist tracks what you own, in step with the Cardboard Alpha app.
The large NM-only figure is a complete catalog estimate when every printing has current NM pricing. LP, MP, HP, and DMG “and up” totals below it use the requested condition or a better available condition. These are summed reference prices, not a quote from one seller; a dash means the current market does not cover every printing yet.
“LP and up” means lightly played or better: the total uses LP when available, then NM as the better-condition fallback. The MP, HP, and DMG tiers follow the same pattern.
