Release date, card count, chase cards and how it compares with the EX era.
POP Series 6 is a promotional collection from the EX era of the English-language Pokémon TCG, part of the POP series and carrying set code P6. Released on September 1, 2007, it is a compact run of 17 cards with no secret cards above the printed count. The card list leans on Colorless, Fighting, Grass and Lightning Pokémon, and its headline cards are Pikachu, Drifloon and Buneary. With just seven Commons, five Uncommons and five Rares, it is a small, tidy set to read through from top to bottom.
The POP Series 6 pull structure is flat: seven Commons, five Uncommons and five Rares, with no chase-tier rarity and no secret cards past the 17 printed. Even so, the most valuable cards in the set are not the Rares. Pikachu, an Uncommon illustrated by Kagemaru Himeno, ranks first, followed by the Uncommon Drifloon, the Common Buneary and the Common Bidoof, with Lucario as the top Rare at 6th. Value is fairly top-heavy, as the five most valuable cards hold 63 percent of the set's total card value.
POP Series 6 was released September 1, 2007.
POP Series 6 has 17 cards.
POP Series 6 is part of the EX era.
As of October 2026, POP Series 6 sits 7th by total card value among the 10 comparable EX sets, at about 0.8 times the era median, and 19th across the whole game. Its Pikachu ranks 6th among the era's most valuable single cards, and the set is 10th for trading activity. At 17 printed cards it is about the same size as the era median of 17. It followed DP Black Star Promos, which holds more total value, and came before POP Series 7, which holds less. Fifteen of its cards first appeared in the Japanese DP-P Promotional cards, released December 1, 2006.

Completing POP Series 6 means tracking down all 17 catalog printings, and every one of them is priced. Because the top five cards carry 63 percent of the set's total card value, the cost of a complete set depends largely on those few cards, while the remaining twelve are far less demanding. Sealed product is thin here: the page lists a single sealed item, filed under other sealed products, so the card list is the main way into this promotional run.
