POP Series 2 is a promotional run for the English-language Pokémon TCG, released on August 1, 2005 during the EX era under the POP series, with the set code P2. It is a compact promo collection of 17 cards, all inside the official count, with no secret cards above it. The structure is simple: seven Rares, five Commons and five Uncommons. The set leans on Grass, Colorless, Lightning and Water Pokémon, and its headline cards are Celebi ex, Pikachu and Ivysaur, with the starter line and the Johto beasts Suicune, Entei and Raikou filling out the card list.
POP Series 2 has no chase tier. Its rarities stop at Rare, so the cards that matter are simply the ones collectors want most. Celebi ex, a Rare illustrated by Ryo Ueda, is the most valuable card, followed by the Common Pikachu by Yuka Morii and the Uncommon Ivysaur by Ken Sugimori. Pokémon Park and Bulbasaur round out the top five. Value is fairly concentrated for a 17-card list, as the top five cards hold 56 percent of the set's total card value. The Suicune, Entei and Raikou Rares by Kouki Saitou follow just behind.
POP Series 2 was released August 1, 2005.

Its most valuable card, Celebi ex, ranks 8th among the era's single top cards, while trading activity places it 5th in the era. At 17 printed cards it sits about level with the era median of 17. It followed POP Series 1, which holds more total value, and came before POP Series 3, which also holds more. Completing POP Series 2 means finding all 17 catalog printings, and every one is priced, so the full card list can be tracked end to end. Because the top five cards carry 56 percent of the set's total value, the cost of a complete set is driven mostly by Celebi ex and a few other cards, while the rest of the run sits well below them. The seven Rares include Suicune, Entei and Raikou, which are the next cards after the top five. Sealed product is limited to a single item, listed as other sealed.
