Phantom Forces is a 119-card expansion in the XY era of the English-language Pokémon TCG, with five secret cards numbered above the printed count, which brings the full run to 124 printings under set code PHF. Its release date was November 5, 2014, between Furious Fists and Primal Clash. The set leans on Psychic, Colorless, Lightning and Metal Pokémon, and its Pokémon-EX cards define it: M Manectric EX appears three times, while AZ, Aegislash EX, Dialga EX and Florges EX each show up in two versions.
Phantom Forces tops out in a chase tier of 18 cards, 15 Ultra Rares and 3 Secret Rares, with the secret cards numbered past the printed 119. The Secret Rare Dialga EX, illustrated by Ayaka Yoshida, is the most valuable card, followed by Ryo Ueda's Gengar EX and the Secret Rare M Gengar EX by 5ban Graphics. A second M Gengar EX in Ultra Rare sits 4th. Value is extremely concentrated: the top five cards hold 90 percent of the set's total card value, so most of the card list carries little weight beside them.
As of October 2026, Phantom Forces holds the 3rd highest total card value of the 14 comparable XY sets, about 2.2 times the era median, and ranks 48th across the whole game. Its Dialga EX is the 3rd most valuable single card in the era, and it ranks 4th in trading activity. At 119 printed cards it sits about level with the era median of 113. Furious Fists, before it, and Primal Clash, after it, both hold less total value. Its cards first appeared in the Japanese set XY4: Phantom Gate, released September 13, 2014, which shares 78 cards with it.

The full Phantom Forces card list runs to 124 printings, 122 of them priced. Because five cards hold 90 percent of total value, the cost of a complete set depends almost entirely on those few Ultra and Secret Rares, while the commons, uncommons and rares fill out the rest cheaply. The sealed line includes 18 products, mainly blisters, booster packs, decks and premium collections, along with a booster box and an Elite Trainer Box. Pokémon-EX cards of Psychic, Lightning and Metal types give deck builders plenty of options from this release.
