Lost Origin (LOR) is an expansion in the Sword & Shield era of the English-language Pokémon TCG, released on September 9, 2022. It carries 196 official cards, with 21 secret cards numbered above that count, for 217 printings in the full card list. Several names appear in multiple versions, among them Aerodactyl V, Arezu, Colress's Experiment, Fantina and Galarian Perrserker V, each printed three times. The set leans on Fighting, Water, Psychic and Grass Pokémon, and its headline cards are Giratina V, Aerodactyl V and Giratina VSTAR.
Lost Origin's rarity ladder runs from commons and uncommons up through holo rares to 68 chase-tier cards, spread across Ultra Rare, Secret Rare, Holo Rare V, VSTAR, VMAX and Radiant Rare. The 21 Secret Rares sit above the printed 196. The most valuable cards are Giratina V, Aerodactyl V and Rotom V, all Ultra Rares, with Giratina VSTAR as the top Secret Rare in 3rd place. Shinji Kanda illustrates the leading Giratina V and 5ban Graphics the VSTAR. The top five cards hold 82 percent of the set's total card value, so most of the worth in these most valuable cards sits in a handful of pulls.
As of October 2026, Lost Origin holds the 4th highest total card value of the 17 comparable Sword & Shield sets, about 2.6 times the era median, and ranks 81st across the whole game. Its single most valuable card ranks 3rd in the era, while trading activity places it 9th. At 196 official cards it sits about level with the era median of 189. It followed Pokémon GO, which holds less total value, and came before Silver Tempest, which also holds less. Its cards first appeared in Japan: 66 are shared with S10a: Dark Phantasma, released May 13, 2022.

A full Lost Origin run is 217 printings, and all 217 are priced. Because the top five cards carry 82 percent of the set's total card value, the cost of a complete set is driven by those few Ultra Rares and Secret Rares, while the commons, uncommons and holo rares fill out the rest cheaply by comparison. The sealed line is broad at 43 products, covering Elite Trainer Boxes, Premium Collections, Ultra Premium Collections, Build & Battle Boxes, blisters, tins and booster packs.
