Lost Origin is an English-language Pokémon TCG expansion from the Sword & Shield era, released on September 9, 2022 under the set code LOR. It carries 196 official cards with 21 secret cards numbered above that count, for 217 printings in all. The set leans on Fighting, Water, Psychic and Grass Pokémon, and its repeat names show how it builds around alternate versions: Aerodactyl V, Arezu, Colress's Experiment, Fantina and Galarian Perrserker V each appear three times. Giratina V, Aerodactyl V and Rotom V head its most valuable cards.
The Lost Origin card list is topped by a deep chase tier of 68 cards, covering Ultra Rare, Holo Rare V, VSTAR and VMAX cards, Radiant Rares and 21 Secret Rares that sit past the printed 196. The most valuable cards are Giratina V, Aerodactyl V and Rotom V, all Ultra Rares, followed by the Secret Rare Giratina VSTAR drawn by 5ban Graphics. Galarian Perrserker V rounds out the leading five. Value is heavily concentrated: the top five cards hold 82 percent of the set's total card value, so a handful of cards decide how the whole set is valued.
As of October 2026, Lost Origin holds the 4th highest total card value of the 17 comparable Sword & Shield sets, about 2.6 times the era median, and its top card ranks 3rd among the era's single most valuable cards. It ranks 9th in the era for trading activity and 81st across all 130 sets in the game. At 196 official cards it is about the same size as the era median of 189. It followed Pokémon GO, which holds less total value, and came before Silver Tempest, which also holds less. Its cards first appeared in Japan in S10a: Dark Phantasma, released May 13, 2022.

A full run of Lost Origin means 217 printings, and all 217 are priced. Because the top five cards hold 82 percent of the set's total card value, the weight of a complete set sits in a few Giratina, Aerodactyl, Rotom and Perrserker cards, while the remaining cards, from commons through rares, account for a small slice of what the set is worth. The sealed line is broad, with 43 products including booster packs, blisters, Elite Trainer Boxes, Premium Collections, Build & Battle Boxes and tins.
