Dragon is an English-language Pokémon TCG expansion in the EX series, released on November 24, 2003 under the set code DR. It carries 97 official cards plus 3 secret cards, for 100 printings in all. The set leans on Colorless, Water, Grass and Fire Pokémon, and its headline cards are the dragon-themed ex cards and the Kanto fire line led by Charizard, Dragonite ex and Rayquaza ex. Several Pokémon appear in three versions each, including Bagon, Corphish, Magnemite, Nincada and Shelgon, so the card list rewards anyone who tracks variants within a single species.
Dragon's rarity structure is plain: 33 commons, 33 uncommons, 22 rares and 12 holo rares, with the 3 secret cards numbered past the printed 97. The most valuable cards are Charizard, Dragonite ex, Rayquaza ex and Charmander, all Rare, with the holo Salamence in 5th. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated Charizard, Charmander and Salamence, while Ryo Ueda drew Dragonite ex. Value is fairly top-heavy: the top five cards hold 55 percent of the set's total card value, so the remaining cards share well under half of it.
Dragon was released November 24, 2003.

A complete Dragon run is 100 printings, and all 100 are priced. Because the top five cards carry 55 percent of the set's total card value, the cost of finishing the set is driven mostly by a handful of dragon and fire cards, while the commons and uncommons that fill most of the card list are a small part of it. Sealed product for the set includes a booster box, a booster pack and a deck.
