The hardest part of the Double Crisis master set is not its size. The checklist is only 66 slots against 34 cards, about 1.9 slots per card, because the Common, Uncommon and Rare cards each add a reverse holo slot beside the normal print. Reverse holos make up 32 slots, normal prints 26 and holos 8. At nine cards a side, the whole master set fills 4 double-sided binder pages, a compact job for an XY era set from the English-language Pokémon TCG, released March 25, 2015.
The Double Crisis master set rests on three families: Reverse Holo with 32 slots, Normal with 26 and Holo with 8. The reverse holo run covers the Common, Uncommon and Rare cards, so those cards need a slot for the standard print and another for the reverse holo finish, where the foil sits on the card's frame rather than its artwork. The holo slots are the set's top-rarity cards. The set has no stamped or special-edition families, so the master set checklist stays simple.
| Variant family | Slots | Priced | Share of value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reverse Holo | 32 | 32 | 20% |
| Normal | 26 | 26 | 3.5% |
| Holo | 8 | 8 | 77% |
The Double Crisis master set cost is concentrated at the top. The ten most valuable slots hold 83 percent of the total value, and holos alone account for 76 percent, with reverse holos at 20 percent and normal prints at 4 percent. The lower-value half of the priced slots adds up to just 4 percent. As of October 24, 2026, 66 slots carry a price. Condition matters too: the LP and up total sits 34 percent below Near Mint, and the MP and up total sits 60 percent below.

Five slots hold 79 percent of the Double Crisis master set's total value. The two Ultra Rare holos, Team Aqua's Kyogre EX and Team Magma's Groudon EX, lead as expected. The surprise is what follows: the reverse holo of the Uncommon Team Magma's Great Ball ranks third, the reverse holo of the Common Team Aqua's Spheal fourth and the reverse holo of the Uncommon Team Aqua Grunt fifth. Each is a variant rather than the card's main print, which makes these the slots in this master set that are easy to underestimate.
At 66 slots, the Double Crisis master set is about 0.3 times the era median of 209 slots, among the smallest in the XY era. By master set value it ranks 8th of 14 comparable sets in its era. The neighbors are far larger and worth more: Primal Clash, the previous set, runs to 295 slots and holds higher master set value, while Roaring Skies, the next set, has 198 slots and also holds higher value.

A Double Crisis master set is one copy of every card AND every variant in the set — the 34 cards on this page, with their Normal, Reverse Holo and Holo prints each listed and priced on their own. Sign in and the checklist tracks what you own, in step with the Cardboard Alpha app.
The large NM-only figure is a complete catalog estimate when every printing has current NM pricing. LP, MP, HP, and DMG “and up” totals below it use the requested condition or a better available condition. These are summed reference prices, not a quote from one seller; a dash means the current market does not cover every printing yet.
“LP and up” means lightly played or better: the total uses LP when available, then NM as the better-condition fallback. The MP, HP, and DMG tiers follow the same pattern.
