A subset of Crown Zenith.
Release date, card count, chase cards and how it compares with the Sword & Shield era.
Crown Zenith Galarian Gallery, code CRZ:GG, is a subset in the Sword & Shield era, released on January 20, 2023 as the gallery companion to the main Crown Zenith expansion. Its headline cards are Giratina VSTAR, Mewtwo VSTAR and Arceus VSTAR, and the card list runs to 70 cards, all of them printed in the official count. Psychic leads the type mix, with Colorless, Darkness and Lightning making up the rest of the Pokémon types in the subset. Most of the run is VSTAR and other high-rarity cards rather than commons, which is what separates a gallery subset from a standard expansion.
The rarity structure here is short and top-heavy: 34 Rares, 32 Ultra Rares and 4 Secret Rares, so 36 of the 70 cards sit in the chase tier. Giratina VSTAR is the most valuable card in the set at Secret Rare, followed by Mewtwo VSTAR at Ultra Rare, then Arceus VSTAR and Origin Forme Dialga VSTAR, both Secret Rares. Four of the five most valuable cards are illustrated by AKIRA EGAWA, who also has four cards in the set overall. The top five cards hold 44 percent of the total card value, a meaningful concentration, though the rest of the value is spread across the Ultra Rare VSTARs below them.

Its Giratina VSTAR is the era's most valuable single card, and the set also leads the era in trading activity. At 70 printed cards it is larger than the era median of 30. It followed Silver Tempest Trainer Gallery, which holds less total value, and came before 30th Classic Collection, which also holds less. Its cards first appeared in Japan in S12a: VSTAR Universe, released December 2, 2022.

The full run is 70 printings, and all 70 are priced, so there is no unpriced tail to chase down. Because the top five cards carry 44 percent of the total card value while 36 cards sit in the chase tier, a complete Crown Zenith Galarian Gallery run is shaped mostly by the Secret Rare VSTARs, with the Rares costing comparatively little. Binder builders will find the card list compact and consistent in format, which keeps tracking progress simple.
