A subset of Brilliant Stars.
Release date, card count, chase cards and how it compares with the Sword & Shield era.
Brilliant Stars Trainer Gallery arrived on February 25, 2022 as a subset of the Sword & Shield era, a 30-card insert run that sits alongside the main Brilliant Stars expansion and carries the set code BRS:TG. The release date placed it just after Celebrations Classic Collection and ahead of Astral Radiance Trainer Gallery. Its card list leans on Psychic, Fighting, Darkness and Lightning Pokémon, and it gives two names more than one treatment: Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX and Single Strike Urshifu VMAX each appear twice, while Umbreon VMAX heads the set's headline cards.
The pull ladder in Brilliant Stars Trainer Gallery is short. Of its 30 cards, 16 are Ultra Rare and 2 are Secret Rare, which makes 18 chase-tier cards, with the remaining 12 sitting at Rare. The most valuable cards start with Umbreon VMAX, illustrated by kawayoo, followed by Mimikyu V from saino misaki, Sylveon V by Megumi Mizutani and Umbreon V by Ligton, with Mimikyu VMAX by Naoki Saito fifth. All of those are Ultra Rare. The top five cards hold 60 percent of the set's total card value, so most of the worth in the card list rides on those few pulls.

Finishing Brilliant Stars Trainer Gallery means tracking down 30 printings, and all 30 are priced. That is a compact run, but the cost is lopsided: with 60 percent of total card value sitting in the top five cards, the Umbreon and Mimikyu pieces decide what a complete set costs, while the Rare tier fills in cheaply by comparison. Anyone building around the two Urshifu VMAX versions will find one for each style, Rapid Strike and Single Strike, within the same 30-card run.
