Battle Styles is a 163-card expansion in the Sword & Shield era of the English-language Pokémon TCG, with 20 secret cards numbered above the printed count for 183 catalog printings in all. It carries the set code BST and released on March 19, 2021. The set is built around the two Urshifu forms, with Single Strike and Rapid Strike versions appearing among its headline cards, and it leans on Fighting, Grass, Water and Metal Pokémon. Several names are printed three times across different rarities, including Empoleon V, Bruno, Cheryl, Phoebe and Korrina's Focus.
The Battle Styles card list climbs from commons and uncommons through holo rares to 60 chase-tier cards, made up of Holo Rare V, Holo Rare VMAX, Ultra Rare and Secret Rare printings, with the 20 secret rares numbered past the printed 163. Tyranitar V, an Ultra Rare illustrated by HYOGONOSUKE, leads the most valuable cards, followed by the Secret Rare Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX by KIYOTAKA OSHIYAMA, then Empoleon V and Mimikyu V. The top five cards hold 57 percent of the set's total card value, so the chase cards carry most of the worth.

A complete Battle Styles run means 183 printings, and all 183 are priced. Because the top five cards account for 57 percent of the set's total card value, the cost of finishing it is driven by a handful of Ultra Rare and Secret Rare cards, while the commons, uncommons and holo rares make up the cheap bulk. The sealed line lists 30 products, mainly blisters, tins, Elite Trainer Boxes, booster packs and a booster box, along with booster cases and Build & Battle Boxes.
