EX Battle Boost was released in Japan on July 13, 2013, and its card list is the place to start. It is a Japanese Pokémon TCG expansion from the Black & White era, coded EBB, and it carries 99 catalog printings. The set is defined by repeats: Pokemon Enterprise is printed three times, while Meloetta, Reshiram and Zekrom each appear twice, so several of its headline cards come in more than one version. Pokemon Enterprise also holds the first, fourth and fifth spots among the most valuable cards, with Rayquaza and Charizard ranking between them.
The most valuable cards in EX Battle Boost are led by three separate printings of Pokemon Enterprise, which take the 1st, 4th and 5th spots, with Rayquaza 2nd and Charizard 3rd. Reshiram, Hydreigon and Charmander follow in 6th, 7th and 8th. Value is spread more evenly than in many sets of its age, since the top five cards account for 31 percent of the set's total card value. The chase is therefore broader than a single standout pull, and the repeated Pokemon Enterprise versions mean one name can be chased across several cards.
As of October 2026, EX Battle Boost holds the 4th highest total card value among the 18 comparable Black & White sets, about 1.9 times the era median, and 84th across the whole game. Its single most valuable card ranks only 14th in the era, so the strength comes from depth rather than one standout, and its trading activity ranks 2nd. It followed BW9: Megalo Cannon, which holds less total value, and came before XY-Bx: Collection X, which also holds less. Its cards reached English in Legendary Treasures, with 90 shared cards, three months later.

Finishing EX Battle Boost means chasing 99 catalog printings, of which 84 are currently priced. Because the top five cards hold 31 percent of the set's total card value, the cost of a complete set is spread across a wider group of cards instead of resting on a handful of pulls. Since 15 printings carry no price yet, a full run depends on those unpriced cards as much as the headline names. The multiple Pokemon Enterprise printings are worth checking card by card when working through the list.
