RWT Collective

RWT Collective is a tournament-focused card shop on the second floor at the corner of Sawtelle and Olympic in Los Angeles, with a calendar that covers more games than most stores in its neighborhood. Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, One Piece Card Game and Disney Lorcana all have weekly league nights, and the store is open 11 AM to 11 PM every day of the week, which makes it one of the easier places to fit in a late game. RWT stands for Real World Trading.

What's on the shelves

The store sells Pokémon, One Piece Card Game, Magic: The Gathering and Disney Lorcana, and it also stocks Riftbound, Grand Archive, Union Arena, CookieRun Braverse, Gundam, Japanese product and sports cards. Sealed product is the visible strength: booster boxes, elite trainer boxes and cases, with One Piece boxes from the Two Legends set priced at $250 and Paramount War boxes at $550. Stock moves quickly, and most of the Pokémon sealed lineup, including Perfect Order and Surging Sparks elite trainer boxes, has sold out.

The store also sells its own accessories: binders from $22, top loaders at $5, card savers at $15, sleeves for PSA graded slabs at $12, graded guards at $30 and a $60 hoodie.

Buying cards

The store buys cards as well as selling them. It takes Pokémon, One Piece, Union Arena, Magic, Grand Archive and Gundam cards, and it also buys sealed boxes, cases and elite trainer boxes. Buying on a new set begins about two weeks after the set's release, and single sealed packs are not bought. Grading is also offered.

Weekly play

The shop runs a full week of organized play, and the five league nights below are the headline ones.

Beyond those, the weekly schedule fills out with Yu-Gi-Oh!, Riftbound, Grand Archive, Digimon, Union Arena, Palworld, Gundam, CookieRun Braverse, Super Smash Bros, Hololive, OshiPush, Weiß Schwarz and Azuki nights, with Saturday running from 1 PM into the evening.

Events and tournament rules

Weekly locals are joined by prereleases, championships and special events. Players are asked to arrive early for check-in and pairings, and late arrivals can be given a round loss depending on start time, attendance and event structure. Some events require sign-up through an external publisher app or event platform. Prizing, format and round count shift with attendance and product availability.

Membership

A paid membership runs $35 a month, $100 for three months or $1,000 for a lifetime, plus a $20 deposit that is refunded when the member fob is returned. Members get access to the Members Lounge and weekly Smash tournaments, 20% off RWT merchandise, 20% off tournament entries up to $5, free bulk cards and free water. Partner discounts at nearby restaurants and shops are part of the package, including Volcano Tea House at 20% off and Beard Papa's at 10% off. Memberships are sold in person at the store only.

Card show

The store also hosts a card show on its own premises. The July 31 edition ran from 5 PM to midnight in Suite 301 of the same building, with featured vendors REFS, MerchTCG and Trader Jon's. Tickets were $14 for general admission and $20 for early access, and the floor covered singles, sealed product and trades across all TCGs.

The store is at 11301 W Olympic Blvd, Suite 201, Los Angeles, CA 90064, on the second floor at the corner of Sawtelle and Olympic.
