Delta Reign reaches English stores on November 6, 2026 with 14 Illustration Rare Pokémon, three of them confirmed here from dated English previews, and no English single-card market to price them.
No Delta Reign Illustration Rare can be called affordable as of October 24, 2026. The English set reaches stores on November 6, 2026, and TCGplayer's listing for it held 21 products on October 24, all sealed, so no English single is listed with a price.
What can be said is narrower. The Pokémon Company International announced 14 Illustration Rare Pokémon for the set, and this preview confirms three of them from dated English previews: Enamorus, Pincurchin and Sprigatito. For scale, the cheapest Illustration Rare in each of the four latest numbered sets evaluated at $1.05 to $1.79 on October 20, 2026.
What Delta Reign has confirmed
The Pokémon Company International's August 20, 2026 media alert for Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution-Delta Reign sets the baseline, and one Pokemon.com notice adds prerelease detail.
Release: The expansion will be available at participating retailers around the world beginning November 6, 2026, and can be played in Pokémon TCG Live from November 5, 2026.
Rarity counts: The alert lists 14 illustration rare Pokémon, 17 ultra rare Pokémon and Trainer cards, and six special illustration rare Pokémon and Supporter cards. It also names four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, six Pokémon ex and six Stadium cards that form three Legendary Stadiums.
Prerelease: Prerelease tournaments begin on October 24, 2026 at participating independent retailers. Pokemon.com's September 28, 2026 notice adds that select Play Pokémon stores begin selling the Build & Battle Box that day.
None of the official pages reviewed for this preview publishes a full English checklist. TCGplayer's presale notes for the set also warn that card details, including rarity and card name, may change before release, so every number below is a preview number.
Illustration Rares shown in English
Three of the 14 are confirmed here from dated pages that give the card's name, its rarity and its illustrator.
Numbers are as given on the source page. "Not stated" means the article gives none.
VGC reported that the Sprigatito card originally made its debut in Japan's Starter Set ex Sprigatito and Meowscarada ex, so the English card is a version of an existing Japanese card. No source reviewed says whether that affects English supply or price.
The other 11 are unconfirmed here. Fan, retailer and social-media posts report more English reveals, but this preview names only the cards it checked on a dated Pokemon.com page or in a dated press report, so the rest are left out rather than repeated.
Three other card types matter to a binder plan:
Special illustration rares: Pokemon.com's October 5 preview calls Aarune (DLR 139, illustrated by Shimaris Yukichi) a special illustration rare. That is one of a separate tier of six cards, not one of the 14.
Build & Battle Box promos: Each box holds one of four foil promos, Masquerain, Magmortar, Enamorus or Kommo-o, per Pokemon.com on September 28, 2026. The promos carry MEP numbers (Masquerain is MEP 111), so the Enamorus promo is a different card from the DLR 110 Illustration Rare.
Legendary Stadiums: The August 20 alert says a booster pack that holds a Legendary Stadium contains both halves of the pair. Pokemon.com's October 5 preview shows Legendary Pyroduct as DLR 94 and DLR 95, illustrated by akagi. All three scenes are described in Delta Reign's connected Stadium artwork.
The missing English market
On October 24, 2026, TCGplayer's ME06: Delta Reign listing (set code DLR, release date November 6, 2026) returned 21 products. Every one is a sealed product: packs, bundles, boxes, blisters and cases. The listing holds no single cards, so no Delta Reign Illustration Rare has a TCGplayer price, a listing or a sales history.
Prerelease tournaments let players play with the set from October 24, yet the listing showed no singles on that date. Cardboard Alpha's catalog has no Delta Reign set either, which is why this preview quotes no Delta Reign price and embeds no Delta Reign card.
Price context from released sets
Price evidence for Illustration Rares has to come from sets that are already out. The table covers every Illustration Rare in the four numbered sets before Delta Reign, which TCGplayer codes ME02 to ME05, priced on October 20, 2026, the last day with final prices.
An evaluated price is Cardboard Alpha's single daily judgement of a card's value. It rests on that day's recorded sales when there are enough of them, and on weaker inputs such as asking prices and prior values when there are not.
Cardboard Alpha evaluated raw Near Mint price for each card's standard printing, October 20, 2026. Each price is the median of that day's 7 to 15 sales, with the most extreme sales set aside. Ascended Heroes (33 Illustration Rares) and 30th Celebration (September 16, 2026) carry no set number on TCGplayer and are left out.
In every set the lowest Illustration Rare sat between $1.05 and $1.79 and the median between $2.18 and $4.00. The highest ran from $5.98 to $14.06, about 4 to 13 times the lowest in the same set. Across the four sets, 26 of the 46 cards evaluated under $3.00 and 39 under $5.00.
Lowest in each set: Probopass in Perfect Order ($1.05), Watchog in Chaos Rising ($1.38), Nymble in Phantasmal Flames ($1.68) and Fomantis in Pitch Black ($1.79).
Highest in each set: Meowth in Phantasmal Flames ($14.06), Clefairy in Perfect Order ($14.00), Slowbro in Pitch Black ($7.49) and Froakie in Chaos Rising ($5.98).
These sets were 95 to 340 days past release on October 20, so the figures describe markets months after launch, not launch weeks. Cardboard Alpha's October 16 study found that 49 of 55 chase cards from 11 English sets cost less on TCGplayer on October 16, 2026 than in their first three weeks, though it follows the five Ultra Rare, Illustration Rare or rarer singles with the highest first-weeks price in each set, not the cheap Illustration Rares.
Delta Reign's 14 Illustration Rares are more than the 11 to 13 in these sets, while its six special illustration rares match the last three and its 17 ultra rares fall in the 17 to 18 range of all four. Nothing here forecasts where Delta Reign's cards will start or settle. A separate watchlist of Delta Reign's chase cards covers those higher tiers and the Japanese Storm Emeralda parallel.
Artist pages as a starting point
Enamorus, Pincurchin and Sprigatito come from three different artists. As of October 24, 2026, Cardboard Alpha's catalog credits 65 cards to Taira Akitsu, 28 to Tetsu Kayama and 37 to Jiro Sasumo, so an artist page can start a binder before the English checklist is final.
Sasumo's credits show how little an artist's name settles. One of them, Fomantis, is the lowest-priced of Pitch Black's 11 Illustration Rares at $1.79, while another, Piplup, is the second-highest of Phantasmal Flames' 13 at $11.00. Two cards cannot rank an artist, but they show that an artist credit alone does not fix a price tier.
Illustrated by Jiro Sasumo. Cardboard Alpha evaluated raw Near Mint price $1.79 on October 20, 2026, the lowest of Pitch Black's 11 Illustration Rares.
Illustrated by Jiro Sasumo. Cardboard Alpha evaluated raw Near Mint price $11.00 on October 20, 2026, the second-highest of Phantasmal Flames' 13 Illustration Rares.
A binder plan for an unfinished checklist
A binder can be organized around facts that a final checklist will not change.
Pick the theme first: a Pokémon, an artist, a region or a type. The three confirmed cards have three different artists, so an artist page may fill more pockets than one set can.
Reserve pockets by tier: 14 for Illustration Rares, kept apart from the six special illustration rares and the 17 ultra rares. Two nine-pocket pages hold 14 with four pockets spare.
Keep the promos separate: the four Build & Battle Box promos are not among the 14.
Log source and date: record where and when each card was shown, as the table above does.
Leave gaps: numbers and rarities may change before release, per TCGplayer's presale notes.
What to verify after November 6
Four checks turn this watchlist into a price guide once the English set is out.
The checklist: the official English list with card numbers, and whether it shows 14 Illustration Rare Pokémon as the August 20 alert says.
The catalog: Delta Reign set and card pages in Cardboard Alpha, which did not exist on October 24, 2026.
The evidence: whether a price rests on recorded sales or only on a quoted guide value, since a low guide value is a weaker number than a low sale-based one.
The date: compare a card with its own set's median on the same day, because prices move from week to week.
Frequently asked questions
What are the cheapest Delta Reign Illustration Rares?
They cannot be named from prices as of October 24, 2026. The English set releases November 6, TCGplayer lists no Delta Reign single cards, and this preview confirms only three of the 14 Illustration Rares from dated English previews. In the four latest numbered sets, the cheapest Illustration Rare evaluated at $1.05 to $1.79 on October 20, 2026, which describes those sets and not Delta Reign.
How many Illustration Rares does Delta Reign have?
The Pokémon Company International's August 20, 2026 media alert lists 14 illustration rare Pokémon, beside 17 ultra rare Pokémon and Trainer cards and six special illustration rare Pokémon and Supporter cards. Enamorus (DLR 110), Pincurchin and Sprigatito are the three this preview confirms from dated English previews that give a rarity label.
Is the Enamorus promo the same card as the Enamorus Illustration Rare?
No. Pokemon.com's September 28, 2026 notice lists an Enamorus foil promo as one of four Build & Battle Box promos, numbered in the MEP series (Masquerain is MEP 111), while its October 5 preview shows the Illustration Rare as DLR 110. The set codes differ, so a binder needs a separate pocket for each.
What did recent Illustration Rares cost in released sets?
On October 20, 2026, Cardboard Alpha's evaluated raw Near Mint medians were $4.00 for Phantasmal Flames, $2.18 for Perfect Order, $2.98 for Chaos Rising and $2.33 for Pitch Black. The highest card in each set ran from $5.98 to $14.06. Those sets were 95 to 340 days past release, so the figures are context and not a Delta Reign forecast.
How can a binder be planned before the checklist is final?
Build it around a theme that a final list will not change, such as an artist, a Pokémon or a type, and reserve 14 pockets for Illustration Rares apart from the special illustration rares. TCGplayer's presale notes warn that card names and rarities may change before release, so leave gaps for cards that are not confirmed.

Market Analysis
Speculating on New Sets: Why Chase-Card Hype Rarely Holds
TCGplayer's price history shows 49 of 55 chase cards from 11 English sets, released from January 2025 to July 2026, below their first-weeks price on October 16, 2026, with the exceptions clustered in Black Bolt and White Flare. Elite Trainer Boxes fell into release in 10 of 11 sets, yet eight of 11 ended above their first-weeks price. This is a record of past prices and sourced supply mechanics, not a forecast.
