Variants drive the Fusion Strike master set: 508 slots against 284 cards, which works out to about 1.8 slots per card. Of the 284, 264 are the official count and 20 are secret rares. Reverse holos take 219 slots, normal prints 206 and holos 83, so the master set checklist is far larger than a simple card count suggests. At nine cards a side, the full run fills 29 double-sided binder pages. The English-language Pokémon TCG set belongs to the Sword & Shield era and released on November 12, 2021.
Three families make up nearly the whole Fusion Strike master set: Reverse Holo with 217 slots, Normal with 204 and Holo with 80. Reverse holo versions exist for Common, Uncommon, Rare and Holo Rare cards, which is why that family runs so large. A reverse holo carries the foil pattern across the card body rather than the artwork box, and every one counts as its own slot. The rest is a short tail of stamped and promotional versions: Holo Foil Cosmos, Normal Snowflake, Normal Trick Or Trade and two Reverse Holo National Championships prints, one of them marked Staff.
| Variant family | Slots | Priced | Share of value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reverse Holo | 217 | 217 | 3.3% |
| Normal | 204 | 204 | 1.5% |
| Holo | 80 | 80 | 95% |
| Holo Foil Cosmos | 3 | 3 | <1% |
| Normal Snowflake | 1 | 1 | <1% |
| Normal Trick Or Trade | 1 | 1 | <1% |
| Reverse Holo National Championships | 1 | 0 | — |
| Reverse Holo National Championships Staff | 1 | 0 | — |
The Fusion Strike master set cost is concentrated at the top. The ten highest-value slots hold 86 percent of the total, and the lower-value half of the priced slots adds up to only 2 percent. By finish, holos carry 95 percent of the value, reverse holos 3 percent and normal prints 2 percent, so the reverse holo and normal slots barely move the total despite filling most of the binder. Of the 508 slots, 506 carry a price, as of October 24, 2026. Accepting Lightly Played and up lowers the Near Mint total by 15 percent, and Moderately Played and up by 31 percent.

A handful of holos decide whether the Fusion Strike master set gets finished. The top five slots by value are the Gengar VMAX, Espeon VMAX and two different Mew VMAX holos, all Secret Rares, plus the Mew V holo, an Ultra Rare. Together they hold 77 percent of the master set's total value. None of them is a variant slot, since each is the card's main holo print, so the difficulty here lies in the secret rare tier rather than in a hidden reverse holo. The two Mew VMAX slots are separate entries and both must be filled.
At 508 slots, the Fusion Strike master set is about 1.4 times the Sword & Shield era median of 358, a heavy job by era standards. It ranks 2nd by master set value among the 17 comparable sets of its era. The previous set, Celebrations, has only 25 slots and a lower-value master set. The next set, Brilliant Stars, has 323 slots and also a lower-value master set. Fusion Strike therefore asks for more slots and more value than either neighbor.

A Fusion Strike master set is one copy of every card AND every variant in the set — the 284 cards on this page, with their Normal, Reverse Holo and Holo prints each listed and priced on their own. Sign in and the checklist tracks what you own, in step with the Cardboard Alpha app.
The large NM-only figure is a complete catalog estimate when every printing has current NM pricing. LP, MP, HP, and DMG “and up” totals below it use the requested condition or a better available condition. These are summed reference prices, not a quote from one seller; a dash means the current market does not cover every printing yet.
“LP and up” means lightly played or better: the total uses LP when available, then NM as the better-condition fallback. The MP, HP, and DMG tiers follow the same pattern.
