The Champion's Path master set takes 135 slots, set against only 80 cards: 73 official numbers plus 7 secret rares. Each card adds about 1.7 slots on average, because the commons, uncommons and holo rares each come in more than one finish. Reverse holos make up 54 slots, normal prints 45 and holos 36. Laid out at nine cards a side, the full master set checklist fills 8 double-sided binder pages, a compact job for a Sword & Shield era release from September 25, 2020, in the English-language Pokémon TCG.
The Champion's Path master set is built from four variant families. Reverse Holo is the largest at 54 slots, and it covers Uncommon, Common and Holo Rare cards, so those are the rarities that carry an extra print. Normal prints come next at 44 slots, then Holo at 36. The small outlier is a single Normal Trick Or Trade slot, a stamped version of a normal print. A stamped slot like that is its own binder pocket, so a collection missing it is one card short even with every standard print in hand.
| Variant family | Slots | Priced | Share of value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reverse Holo | 54 | 54 | 2.9% |
| Normal | 44 | 44 | 1.7% |
| Holo | 36 | 36 | 95% |
| Normal Trick Or Trade | 1 | 1 | <1% |
The Champion's Path master set cost is extremely top-heavy. The ten most valuable slots hold 90 percent of the total value, while the lower-value half of the priced slots adds up to only 2 percent. By finish, holos carry 96 percent, reverse holos 3 percent and normal prints 2 percent. All 135 of the 135 slots carry a price as of October 24, 2026. Condition matters at the margin: the LP and up total sits 14 percent below Near Mint, and the MP and up total sits 30 percent below it.

A handful of holos decide whether this master set gets finished. The five hardest slots are the Charizard V, Charizard VMAX, Gardevoir VMAX and Drednaw VMAX, all secret rare holos, followed by the Alcremie VMAX, a holo rare VMAX. Together they hold 86 percent of the master set's total value. None of them is a variant slot: each is the card's main holo print, so the difficulty sits in the secret rare numbers themselves rather than in a hidden reverse holo or stamped version.
At 135 slots, the Champion's Path master set is about 0.4 times the 358-slot median for its era, one of the shorter Sword & Shield era master sets to complete. By master set value it ranks 9th among 17 comparable sets in the era. The previous set, Darkness Ablaze, runs 370 slots and holds lower value, while the next set, Vivid Voltage, runs 358 slots and holds similar value. Both ask for far more binder pages, so the small size here is a matter of slot count, not of value.

A Champion's Path master set is one copy of every card AND every variant in the set — the 80 cards on this page, with their Normal, Reverse Holo and Holo prints each listed and priced on their own. Sign in and the checklist tracks what you own, in step with the Cardboard Alpha app.
The large NM-only figure is a complete catalog estimate when every printing has current NM pricing. LP, MP, HP, and DMG “and up” totals below it use the requested condition or a better available condition. These are summed reference prices, not a quote from one seller; a dash means the current market does not cover every printing yet.
“LP and up” means lightly played or better: the total uses LP when available, then NM as the better-condition fallback. The MP, HP, and DMG tiers follow the same pattern.
