Collection X is a 64-printing expansion in the Japanese Pokémon TCG's XY era, released on December 13, 2013 under the set code XY-Bx. The Japanese XY-Bx: Collection X is built from commons, uncommons and rares, topped by a small band of Double Rare and Super Rare cards. Its identity comes from the EX cards, with Skarmory EX, Venusaur EX and Xerneas EX each printed in two versions, and from Venusaur EX and Xerneas EX leading the card list by value.

The chase in Collection X sits at the top of a short ladder: four Double Rare and three Super Rare cards, seven chase-tier cards in all. Venusaur EX in Super Rare form is the most valuable card, followed by the Super Rare Xerneas EX, a Common Pikachu, M Venusaur EX as a Double Rare, and the Super Rare Skarmory EX. The top five cards alone hold 66 percent of the set's total card value, so the most valuable cards here are a few EX pulls, with the rest of the card list worth far less.
As of October 2026, Collection X ranks 16th by total card value among the 21 comparable XY sets, with a master set worth 0.8 times the era median, and 136th across the whole game. Its single most valuable card ranks 12th in the era, and it sits last for trading activity. It followed EX Battle Boost and came before XY2: Wild Blaze, and both of those hold more total value. Its cards reached English in the XY set, 8 weeks later, which shares 59 cards with it.

Finishing the Japanese Collection X card list means 64 printings, of which 55 are priced. With two-thirds of the set's value packed into five cards, the cost of a complete set depends mostly on landing the Venusaur EX, Xerneas EX and Skarmory EX versions, while the many commons and uncommons add little.
