Splash Cards

Splash Cards is a card shop at 1201 North Hill Field Road in Layton, Utah, carrying Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering and sports cards. It is a newly opened business, a small and young name on the local scene, and the card selection is the whole story so far: three games, each with its own section of inventory.

What's on the shelves

The stock covers three areas. Sports cards cover favorite players from across the major sports. Pokémon cards run to rare pulls aimed at collectors. Magic: The Gathering cards round out the lineup. Collectors who want one stop for all three, rather than a store built around a single game, are the natural audience.

Hours and getting there

The store sits at 1201 North Hill Field Road, Layton, UT 84041. Anyone planning a trip should call ahead before making the drive.

The local scene

Layton has a cluster of game and hobby stores within a couple of miles of Splash Cards. Game Den - Layton is the closest, about 0.6 miles away. Mayday Games is about 1.2 miles off, and Gweedo's Comics, Game Grid Layton and Minus World Video Games all sit about 1.4 miles away. That density makes a store crawl practical for anyone in the area, with Splash Cards as the place to look specifically for Pokémon, Magic and sports singles.
