Game Grid Layton

Game Grid Layton is a tabletop and trading card game store at 26 N Main St Ste B in Layton, Utah. It carries Magic: The Gathering, Disney Lorcana and Star Wars: Unlimited alongside a deep board game shelf, role-playing supplies and miniatures. It suits players who want one stop for card games and tabletop hobby gear, and shoppers who like to order for pickup or shipping as well as walk in.

What's on the shelves

Trading card games are sold as sealed product and as singles. Magic: The Gathering stock includes the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Play Booster, which holds 14 cards per pack, including one to four cards of rare rarity or higher and one traditional foil. Disney Lorcana is represented by gift boxes such as the Winterspell Scrooge McDuck box, and Star Wars: Unlimited by booster packs such as Twilight of the Republic. Union Arena starter decks are also carried.

The tabletop side is broad. The store stocks board games, role-playing games, Warhammer, Wizkids miniatures and dice, plus paints for Dungeons and Dragons. Board games run from light party and family titles to heavier strategy games, with Skull King, Splendor, Coup, Wingspan, Dune: Imperium, Terraforming Mars and Catan expansions among the stock. Wizkids pre-primed Dungeons and Dragons miniatures from the Nolzur's Marvelous Miniatures line sell for $8.99 each, and card sleeves and other accessories round out the supplies.

Events and organized play

A Lorcana Sealed League Event is offered at $30 for 6 packs. Star Wars: Unlimited players have a date to mark: the Ashes of the Empire expansion arrives July 11 with a prerelease event, and preorders are open now.

Store policies

The store runs a loyalty program that rewards customers on every order, and orders over $149 ship free. Below that threshold, shipping is the customer's cost, calculated from the customer's location and USPS rates.

Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase for unused items in their original packaging, with a receipt or proof of purchase. Trading and collectible card game singles cannot be returned, and neither can gift cards or sale items. Exchanges are made only for items that are defective or damaged.
