Rolling Hills Collectibles

Rolling Hills Collectibles is a trading card and collectibles shop in McArthur, Ohio, in the Hocking Hills area. It stocks Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece Card Game and sports cards, and it runs on a family-first footing that welcomes everyone from kids opening a first pack to adults hunting vintage cards. It suits local players and collectors who want a neighborhood shop for singles, sealed product, trade-ins and a Friday night game.

What's on the shelves

The shop covers four lines. Pokémon is stocked as cards and boxes, Magic: The Gathering as singles and more, One Piece Card Game as cards and boosters, and sports cards across MLB, NFL, NBA and other leagues. The store is an authorized trading card game retailer.

The counter works both directions. The store buys singles, sealed product and complete sets, and collections can be turned into cash or traded in toward new cards. Payment is accepted in cash, by credit or debit card, and through digital payment methods. Inventory is also sold online, so a trip is not required to shop the full range.

Events and play

A Friday night tournament is the store's regular play night, and tournaments and events for various trading card games are held beyond it. No fixed weekly schedule, game or entry fee is confirmed, so it is worth asking at the counter before planning around a particular format.

Store policies

Preorders are taken for upcoming releases, and some may require a deposit. Early access to product drops and exclusive deals go to the store's community of collectors. Dealings are built on fair prices and transparency, and the shop is meant as a place where people gather to trade and talk cards.

History

The shop grew out of a friendship between two high school friends who met in 2008, left the Vinton area for Columbus after graduation and moved back home in 2020 as a family was starting. In 2024, during the Pokémon 151 era, they came back to the hobby, and the encouragement of the Pokémon community was enough to turn the interest into a store. Rolling Hills Collectibles was founded that same year, making it a young shop that is still building its regular crowd.

Getting there

The shop sits at 107 S Market St in McArthur. Store hours vary by season, so a call or a stop in person is the way to confirm when the doors are open.
