Jab Games

Jab Games is a Pokémon card shop at 11705 Boyette Rd in Riverview, Florida. It sells individual cards, card lots and sealed product, buys bulk collections, and ships orders to customers beyond the Tampa area. It suits collectors who want one-game depth, from current sets back to the vintage WOTC era, rather than a general shelf of everything.

What's on the shelves

Pokémon is the only game the store carries, and the stock is organized by set. Individual singles run from the newest releases, including Chaos Rising, Perfect Order, Phantasmal Flames, Mega Evolution, and Black Bolt & White Flare, back through the Scarlet & Violet and Sword and Shield eras. Vintage runs deeper still: Base Set, Fossil, Jungle, Team Rocket, the Neo sets, Skyridge, Aquapolis and Expedition, plus the EX-series sets.

Prices span a wide range. A Phantasmal Flames full art trainer such as Blowtorch is $2.25, a Rotom ex full art is $20, and a Mega Sharpedo ex full art is $30. Reverse holo singles from older sets sit in between, with an Eevee from Lost Thunder at $6.50 and a Golbat from Hidden Legends at $18.

Beyond singles, the store sells:

• Premium card lots, including favorite-character lots, with lots that can be customized to a buyer's needs
• Vintage lots of WOTC-era cards that include 1st Edition cards, sold as 20 authentic vintage cards per lot
• Sealed product, from prerelease boxes to booster boxes, plus sealed booster packs, sealed energy packs and sealed promo cards
• A Pokemon TCG Mystery Collection Box whose contents are random
• PSA graded cards and Japanese cards
• Supplies and extras: playmats, card sleeves, binders, dice and damage counters, empty ETB and deck boxes, jumbo cards, figures, pins, keychains, magnets and acrylics

Organized play

The store is a confirmed Pokémon League location. It also sells a collection of League promo cards, 38 products in all, mostly reverse holo League promos from older sets. Prices run from about $1.25 for common promos up to $25 for a Mysterious Treasure Staff trainer promo.

Buying and selling

The store buys Pokémon bulk. Sellers fill out a form describing the collection they want to offer, and the store looks at what comes in.

Store policies

A rewards program earns 3 points for every $1 spent, and points convert to discounts on later purchases. Orders ship within 3 business days with a tracking number. Orders placed on a Friday or over a weekend go out Monday morning, and faster shipping can be chosen at checkout. The store also runs free giveaways for its followers.
