Comic Spot

Comic Spot is a comic and collectibles shop at 10453 Gibsonton Dr in Riverview, Florida, about 30 minutes outside of Tampa. It carries comics, trading cards, toys, Loungefly bags and enamel pins, and it suits collectors who come for licensed Marvel, Disney and Star Wars merchandise and graded books rather than for in-store game nights.

What's on the shelves

The trading card selection leans on licensed hobby products. Topps is the main brand, with hobby boxes and value boxes across Marvel, Disney, Star Wars and WWE. Recent stock includes the 2026 Topps Universe WWE Value Box at $35, the 2026 Topps Chrome Marvel Comics Hobby Box at $500, the 2025 Topps Chrome Marvel Deadpool Hobby Box at $350 and the 2025 Topps Chrome Star Wars Galaxy Hobby Box at $330. Blaster boxes from Upper Deck and Keepsake sit at the lower end, around $30 to $35, and One Piece Cybercel mystery packs run $7.

Comics are a core category, including CGC graded books and CGC Signature Series copies. Toys and collectibles cover Funko Pop vinyl figures along with statues and figures from Hot Toys, Sideshow, Iron Studios, Kotobukiya, Mezco, Neca and Good Smile Company, plus Marvel, DC and Star Wars lines. Apparel and accessories round out the floor: bags, hats, keychains, lanyards, Popsockets and umbrellas.

Loungefly and enamel pins

Comic Spot is an official small retailer of Loungefly products, and the Loungefly section is one of its larger draws. Mini backpacks, tote bags, crossbody bags, wallets and mystery-box enamel pins are all stocked. Prices run from about $9.99 for a blind-box pin to $150 for exclusive cosplay backpacks. A Great Gatsby Mickey and Minnie mini backpack, a store exclusive priced at $125, debuted at MegaCon Orlando and was made in limited quantities. A Disney Villains sequin Ursula backpack is another store exclusive.

The enamel pin catalog runs to about 160 items, mixing officially licensed pins with store-exclusive limited editions. Exclusives are numbered runs of 100 to 300 pieces, including Spider-Man pins from Venom Inc. issues, Jason X pins made for New York Comic Con 2026, and Superman #204 Jim Lee pins in color and black and white. New pins arrive weekly.

Buying collections

The store buys comics, toys and collectibles, paying cash or offering trade deals. Collections are assessed seven days a week, and large collections should call ahead so someone is on hand to look them over.
