Gamestorm

Gamestorm is a game store in Lemont, Illinois, built around Magic: The Gathering and open every day of the week. It carries Magic cards and collectibles alongside board games, Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer and Star Wars tabletop products, and it keeps a play space with tables so customers can sit down and use what they buy. It suits Magic players looking for deck upgrades and a place to play, and tabletop groups that want a room to gather in.

What's on the shelves

Magic: The Gathering is the card game the store is organized around, with cards and collectibles for players building decks or growing a collection. The rest of the stock covers the wider tabletop hobby: board games from family favorites to heavier strategy titles, Dungeons & Dragons for roleplayers, Warhammer for miniatures players, and Star Wars tabletop products.

Play space

The store has real tables for playing. That sets it apart from a shop that only sells product: the space is meant for card matchups, board game nights, roleplaying sessions and miniatures battles, with separate groups gathering around Magic, board games and Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer, and Star Wars. Special events can run past midnight, so extended hours are possible on event nights.

Hours and getting there

The store is on State Street in Lemont, Illinois 60439, and keeps the same schedule every day of the week.

Only event nights stretch the evening past those hours.
