All dates →Schenectady Sports Card is a free-admission, two-day sports card and collectibles show in Schenectady, New York, run by Albany NY Show Promotions. It runs most months of the year on a Saturday and Sunday inside a former mall, and it suits local collectors who want a walkable, low-stakes room with grading drop-off built in.
The show features 25 vendor booths each day, with sports cards as the main draw and memorabilia and trading card game material in the mix. Admission is free, and tickets are handled at the door on the day of the event.
Grading is a real part of the offering here. The organizer is an authorized submission center for SGC and CGC card grading and for CGC comic book grading, available at every event. The process is simple: print and fill out the submission form, drop your cards or comics and the form off at a show, and pick up the graded items at a future show. At select shows, JSA provides on-site autograph authentication.
The Saturday and Sunday format holds across the schedule. Saturday hours are 11:00am to 6:00pm and Sunday hours are 11:00am to 5:00pm.

Vendors apply by filling out an application and contract form and emailing it back to the organizer. The vendor packet covers set-up times and table fees. On-site, the management team rents security bags and display cases at every show and sells security bags, which helps if you are bringing a smaller setup and want to add showcase space. Vendors can also order Zion cases through the management team at any show.
Albany NY Show Promotions has been running card shows since 1974 and operates a network of five locations across the region: Albany, Saratoga, Schenectady, Syracuse and Johnstown. The flagship Albany show runs monthly with 110 vendor booths, so the Schenectady weekend is the smaller, more relaxed sibling in the same family of events.
The show is held at Via Port Rotterdam, the former Rotterdam Square Mall, at 93 W. Campbell Road in Schenectady, NY 12306.
Schenectady Sports Card fits collectors who want a free, no-pressure afternoon of sports cards with a manageable 25 booths to work through, and anyone who wants to submit cards or comics for SGC or CGC grading without mailing them in. Vendors get a regular weekend slot in a long-running show network, with rental cases and security bags available on the spot.
