All dates →Mom and Pop Card Show is a boutique card show series that runs across Texas, with sports cards, Pokémon, One Piece and other trading card games on the tables. It was created by the husband-and-wife team of Maxwell and Caitlin Benson and is built to be a day out for the whole family rather than a dealer-only trade room. The next edition is November 15, 2026, at The Fieldhouse at the Crossover.
The November 15 show carries more than 30 tables, with Pokémon, sports cards and other trading card games sharing the floor. The series aims to lift the usual card show setup by choosing venues that come with food, drinks and an atmosphere for everyone, not just the people at the tables. Past editions have been held at breweries and beer venues as well as sports facilities. Food trucks are on site at the Crossover show, along with outdoor activities for kids: volleyball, pickleball and a play structure. The events are all ages.
Shows run from 11 AM to 5 PM. Admission for the November 15 show is $5, paid online or at the door, and kids under 7 get in free. The series also holds shows in Austin, San Antonio, Waco and Houston.

Vendor tables are sold alongside admission tickets, and demand is strong: tables for the November 8 show in South Austin and the November 15 show at the Crossover are sold out. The same pattern holds across the fall calendar, with several other November, December and January dates already sold out of tables. A vendor who wants a spot is better off booking early than waiting for a date to approach.
The series has built a regular circuit of Texas markets. A June 2026 edition was held at Bad Astronaut Brewing Co. in Houston, with admission at $5, and the fall brought shows in Austin, Waco and Houston within a few weeks of each other. The calendar now stretches into May 2027, with recurring dates at the Crossover, at Branch Park Pavilion in Mueller and at Nexus in Waco. The Bensons also run an event business, Can't Even Comedy, and have worked with brands such as Nike, The W Hotel, Ace Hotel and Soho House, which explains the emphasis on venue and atmosphere. Expansion beyond Texas is planned.
The November 15 edition is at The Fieldhouse at the Crossover, in Suite 100 on the Crossover property, with a Leander address. Parking is on site, with an overflow lot next door.
The series fits families and casual collectors who want a relaxed afternoon with food and room for kids to run around, plus Pokémon and sports card shoppers who would rather browse a friendly 30-table room than a convention hall. Vendors who want a boutique-sized show with a steady crowd can find a table here, provided they book ahead.
