Diamond 9 Sports / TCG is a recurring Pokémon card event in Placentia, held at the Diamond 9 Sports shop on North Placentia Avenue. It is aimed at Pokémon collectors and players in north Orange County who want a regular, local meeting point rather than a one-off convention.
Dates and format
The 2026 run is frequent and mostly midweek and Saturday. Sessions fell on Wednesdays and Saturdays through May and June, with earlier dates in March, April and early May. The venue appears under two names for the same location: the shop's own name and its street address, 1850 N Placentia Ave. The April 1 session was free to attend.
The series began in March 2026 with sessions roughly every few weeks, then settled into a steady rhythm in mid-May. From May 13 onward the schedule runs on a Wednesday and Saturday pattern, with a session every Wednesday and Saturday through the end of June. That pace makes it closer to a standing weekly meetup than a monthly show.
Getting there
The venue sits at 1850 N Placentia Ave in Placentia. It is a shop location rather than a convention hall or hotel ballroom, so expect a smaller, more neighborhood setting than a large show floor.
Nearby
The area has plenty of other card and game stops within a few miles. Wolfpack Collectibles TCG Show is the closest, under 2 miles away, with its next date on Nov 3, 2026. Shops in Fullerton, Brea, Anaheim and Orange, including RL Sports Cards, Card Addiction, Dice House Games, Game Citi TCG and The Realm Games, sit roughly 3 to 5 miles out, which makes it easy to fold several stops into one day.
Who it suits
This series fits Pokémon players and collectors in the Placentia, Fullerton and Brea area who want frequent, low-key sessions close to home. It is less suited to vendors or collectors looking for a large multi-hundred-table floor, since the setting is a single shop location.
