Trading Cards

Trading Cards is a card shop on South Mount Juliet Road in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, open every day from 11 AM to 6 PM. It stocks Pokémon and sports cards, with singles, sealed wax and a grading drop-off counter under one roof, which makes it a practical stop for anyone in the area who wants to buy, browse or send cards off to be graded.

What's on the shelves

The store carries sports cards and Pokémon. Singles cover graded and raw cards from all sports as well as Pokémon, so a shopper can pick between slabbed cards and ones that are still ungraded. Sealed wax is sold in the shop too, and every sealed wax sale is final.

Grading

Cards are not graded in the shop. The store is an authorized bulk submitter with PSA, and CGC grading is offered as well. Customers log their own cards first, then ship them in or drop them off at the shop. Orders without a card list or a CSV upload carry an extra $2 per card to log. The most common option starts at $20 per card for sports cards and trading card games through PSA.

Some other practical details:

• Cards go out to PSA every day, and within 5 business days of arriving at the latest, depending on demand.
• A pre-check service is available, in which a professional looks over cards and decides whether they are worth sending, and wipes each one down beforehand.
• Cards are not cleaned or handled before submission unless they go through that service.
• Cards already in a slab are not cracked out and resubmitted raw.
• Finished orders can be picked up at the shop with a photo ID and the order number.

Turnaround times depend on the service level and are estimates from the grading company, not guarantees.
