Tier 1 Games

Tier 1 Games is a trading card shop at 27250 Madison Ave Ste D in Temecula, open every day and busy with organized events. It sells and buys singles across Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece Card Game, Disney Lorcana, and Star Wars: Unlimited, and it keeps a steady run of prereleases and release events on the calendar. It suits players who want a store that runs events every day of the week, and collectors with a pile of cards to sell or trade.

What's on the shelves

Singles are the backbone of the stock, sorted by game: Pokémon, Magic, One Piece, Lorcana, Star Wars: Unlimited, and Riftbound. New arrivals tend to track the latest set. Recent additions include alternate art cards from the One Piece set The World's Strongest Warriors, priced from about $8 up to the high $30s. Graded Pokémon cards are carried too, including PSA-graded vintage pieces such as a 1999 holo Charizard.

Sealed product is available for preorder, but some of it is handled in person only. Booster displays for new releases, a Riftbound booster box, and a Dungeons and Dragons: World of Warcraft collector's edition have all been available for in-store preorder or pickup.

Buying and trading

The store buys and trades both sealed product and singles from Magic, Pokémon, Lorcana, One Piece, Riftbound, and Star Wars Unlimited. Offers come as cash or store credit. Walk-in sellers can come by appointment or without one, though walk-ins are limited to 10 unique items.

Collections can also be dropped off at any time during store hours. Evaluation typically takes 48 to 72 hours, sometimes more or less depending on how busy the store is, and the offer arrives by phone call, with a follow-up text if the call is missed. Drop-offs come with preparation rules:

• Cards must be out of binders, toploaders, and hard cases, and unsleeved unless valued over $50.
• Cards worth $1.50 or more must be separated from bulk cards, and bulk cards must be sorted by rarity.
• Anything left unseparated is counted at the bulk common rate.
• The store can turn away cards in poor condition.

Events

Events run in the store every day of the week, covering tournaments, casual play, and leagues. The fall calendar is heavy on release and prerelease events, with entry fees set per event.

The OP18 release on November 22 has sold out, and a double header of qualifier events is also set for November 21, with a morning and an afternoon session.

Store policies

Returns are accepted within 30 days, with a restocking fee of 10 percent, a minimum of $5 and a maximum of $100. Online orders ship within 72 hours, or on release date for preorders.
