Spymaker Game Lounge

Spymaker Game Lounge is a game lounge at 1235 S Center Rd Ste 3 in Burton, Michigan, in Genesee County. It is not open yet. The business is coming soon and is building a community space for board game players, Magic: The Gathering players, Dungeons and Dragons groups and Warhammer players, welcoming veterans and beginners alike.

What is planned

The lounge plans a large collection of board games, space for Magic: The Gathering and Warhammer battles, and a quieter corner set aside for Dungeons and Dragons campaigns. The game collection is still being built, so the shelves are not full yet. Tables are already set up for groups that want to bring their own games. Magic: The Gathering is the one trading card game the store is tied to so far.

No weekly events, organized play programs or opening hours have been confirmed, and the lounge does not yet operate as a card shop with singles or sealed product.

Getting there

The lounge sits in Suite 3 at 1235 S Center Rd in Burton. Because it has not opened, check back before planning a trip around it; the plan is for a place where groups can sit down and play, not a quick in-and-out retail stop.

The local scene

The area around the lounge already has a fair amount of hobby activity, and several stops sit close by:

• Really Cool Comic Con - RC3 in Flint, 0.4 miles away
• Level 7 Collectibles in Burton, 2 miles away
• Game on in Flint, 3.5 miles away
• Bigfoot Comics in Burton, 3.8 miles away
• Comic Relief in Flint, 4 miles away

The Flint Weekly Card & Collectibles Show is 0.7 miles from the lounge, with upcoming dates on November 3, November 10 and November 17, 2026. Farther afield, about 29.6 miles away, The Syndicate Trade Show-Detroit runs November 7, 2026, and Detroit Card Show follows on November 21, 2026.

Who it suits

For now, Spymaker Game Lounge is a place to watch rather than a place to rely on. Once it opens, it should suit tabletop groups looking for a spot to play Magic, Warhammer or Dungeons and Dragons, and board game fans in Genesee County who want a table to claim. Anyone who needs a store for buying or selling cards today is better served by the established shops and the weekly show nearby.
