About
Queen City Comic & Card Co is a long-running comic and collectibles shop at 6600 Dixie Hwy in Fairfield, Ohio, one of two locations in the Cincinnati area. Comics come first, with trading cards, toys and movie posters alongside, and the store buys collections as well as selling them. It suits comic readers who want a deep back-issue stock and card collectors who like to browse a shop that carries more than cards.
The store carries new and back issue comics, trade paperbacks and graphic novels, plus collecting supplies, magazines, trading cards, toys and movie posters. Each location displays about 50,000 back issues and holds a back stock of around 500,000 books. The card side covers baseball cards and gaming cards, and the shelves also hold action figures, collectibles, memorabilia and Mystery Minis.
New comics arrive every Wednesday. A book that is not in stock can be special ordered.
The store is always in the market to purchase quality collections, and it adds new inventory constantly.
Customers can start a File, a pull-list of the comics they follow, which the store sets aside for them. A File comes with a discount, costs nothing to keep and has no minimum number of books. Books can be picked up weekly, monthly or whenever it suits the customer.
The Fairfield store is in Suite V at 6600 Dixie Highway.

Because new comics land on Wednesdays, that is the day the new-release shelves are freshest.
The company opened on Montgomery Road in Pleasant Ridge, slightly north of Cincinnati, in May of 1987 and grew into the largest comic book and collectible shop in the area. The Fairfield store, farther north of the city, was added in the fall of 1996. The Pleasant Ridge store was featured on The Toy Hunter, in a segment about the unreleased Rocket Firing Boba Fett figure, one of the rarest Star Wars figures ever made.
Several other card and comic shops sit within a few miles of the Fairfield store: Collecting Warehouse, also in Fairfield, and Game Swap in Cincinnati, both about 2.7 miles away; Cincy Comics in Springdale, 3.5 miles; and Queen City Sports Cards & Memorabilia in Glendale and Hooterville Sports Cards in Fairfield, each 3.6 miles. For a bigger floor, PokePop is a card show about 26 miles away with its next date on November 14, 2026, and the Darke County Card Show, about 55 miles away, follows on November 15, 2026.
