Phantom Zone Comics

Phantom Zone Comics is a comic and collectibles shop at 16825 48th Ave W, Suite 106, in Lynnwood, Washington. Its focus is comic books, graphic novels and manga, with a wide wall of action figures and toys alongside. It suits readers and toy collectors more than players hunting for tournament nights, since no weekly events or organized-play programs are confirmed for the Lynnwood shop.

What's on the shelves

Comics lead the stock. The shop carries new weekly releases, back issues and graded comics, and keeps a final order cutoff for upcoming titles. Graphic novels run from DC and Marvel collections to horror and crime series, with a book section for prose and a kids and young adult shelf. A Free Comic Book Day exclusive line of Absolute hardcovers has been available. Manga is a sizable category, with volumes of ongoing series and hardcover collections such as Akira.

The toy side is just as broad. Action figure lines include G.I. Joe and G.I. Joe Classified, ReAction, Marvel Legends, Masters of the Universe, McFarlane Toys, NECA, Transformers, and Star Wars in its Black Series and Vintage lines. Funko figures, Pop Retro Toys Transformers vinyl figures, Loungefly bags, hats and beanies, apparel and housewares fill out the rest. A monthly staff pick spotlights a single title, and a recent one was Exquisite Corpses Vol. 1, a horror series set on Halloween night.

Store policies

Orders can be placed online or by phone and picked up in the store once the order is confirmed as processed. Bring the order number and ID, and tell the store ahead of time if someone else is collecting. Pre-orders and subscriptions are available on some items, and a partially paid pre-order can be canceled until it is fulfilled.

Returns follow firm rules:

• In-store returns are accepted up to 5 days after purchase with a receipt; a return without a receipt is exchange only.
• Comics and graphic novels are not returnable.
• Returned items must be in original, unopened packaging.
• Online purchases are not eligible for returns. Defective items can be exchanged within 5 days of delivery for an identical item, and store credit is decided case by case.

In-stock online orders typically ship within 72 hours, and the store ships only within the US. Orders over $75 ship free.
