Nakama Collectibles

Nakama Collectibles is a trading card game and tabletop store in Cypress, Texas, at 16918 Telge Rd, Suite 3. It serves casual players, tournament regulars and collectors with sealed product, singles, accessories and a play space, and it runs a full week of organized play. The hours lean toward evenings and weekends, which suits players who come after work or school.

What's on the shelves

Sealed product is the foundation: factory-sealed booster packs and boxes from the major trading card games. The store is an authorized TCG retailer. The singles selection covers chase cards, tournament staples and harder-to-find cards, aimed at players building or tuning a competitive deck as well as collectors completing a set.

Beyond cards, the store carries model kits and collectible figures spanning anime, sci-fi and tabletop universes, for building, customizing or simply displaying. Sleeves, playmats, binders and storage round out the accessories wall.

Weekly play

The store keeps a busy tournament calendar, with events most days of the week. Entry fees are set per event.

Some Monday and Saturday slots are still pending confirmation, so the Monday and Saturday evening events may shift.

Learn to play events

Teaching is part of the store's identity. Saturday afternoons carry a learn-to-play session on a monthly cycle, and Sunday evening is set aside for beginner-friendly play. The store has also scheduled special learn-to-play events for Cookierun on Saturday, March 28 and Saturday, April 4, each running 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM. For someone picking up a new game, that combination of a regular teaching slot and a beginner night is the main draw.

Hours and getting there

The store is open 2 PM to 10 PM Monday through Friday, noon to midnight on Saturday and noon to 8 PM on Sunday. It sits on Telge Rd in Cypress, ZIP code 77429, in a suite-style unit.

Who it suits

Nakama Collectibles fits players who want a tournament on almost any night of the week, newcomers who would rather learn a game at a scheduled teaching session than figure it out alone, and collectors who also build model kits or display figures. The late weekend hours make it an easy stop for anyone who can only get away on Saturday.
