Moore Comics

Moore Comics is a comic shop in Westerville, Ohio, that has served Greater Columbus and Westerville since 2007. Back issues are the draw, with thousands of comics in stock and boxes of older editions to dig through, and Magic: The Gathering and HeroClix round out the gaming side. It is set up as a family-friendly shop with something for readers of all ages, so it suits casual browsers and long-time collectors alike.

What's on the shelves

Comics span the golden, silver, bronze and modern ages, with the older editions kept in boxes for browsing. Beyond the books, the store carries graphic novels, action figures and other collectibles, plus comic supplies such as bags and boards.

On the gaming side, the store sells Magic: The Gathering and HeroClix. Gaming supplies are also available, and anything the store does not carry on its shelves can be ordered in.

Pull service

New comic titles come out on Wednesdays. The store runs a pull service that reserves each customer's comics every week, with no minimum number of pulls required. Signing up is done in person at the store.

Events

The store sponsors gaming tournaments, including HeroClix on Saturdays from 2 PM to 6 PM. Schedules and dates for other tournaments change, so check with the store before planning around a specific event.
