About
Journey's End Games is a Magic: The Gathering-focused card store at 219 W 3rd St in Moscow, Idaho, open Monday through Saturday afternoons and evenings. Alongside Magic it carries Disney Lorcana and Star Wars: Unlimited. It leans toward singles, including high-end and vintage cards, and it buys collections from players who want to cash out. It suits Magic players and collectors in the Palouse who want a deep singles inventory, and sellers who want to deal with a person rather than a faceless buylist.
Magic: The Gathering is the center of the operation. The store sells singles across the price range, from bulk up to high-end and vintage cards, along with sealed product. Disney Lorcana and Star Wars: Unlimited fill out the game list. Accessories and supplies include deck boxes, card sleeves, dice, binders and game mats.
For expensive cards, the store offers scans of any high-end card priced over $250 on request, so a buyer can see the exact copy before committing. A separate group for high-end and vintage buyers lets customers put in requests for what they want to see when new stock comes in.
The store buys Magic cards and whole collections, in person or remotely. Sellers can talk through their cards by video call, Messenger or email, and an associate looks over the collection and gives an offer range that depends on condition. For remote sales, the cards are shipped in, processing takes two to four days depending on collection size, and the store sends one offer for the whole lot with a card-by-card price breakdown. A declined offer means the cards are shipped back. Payment is by cash (check or electronic) or by store credit, which carries an extra bonus.
The mail-in buylist works differently: every submission must be approved by a team member before it ships, and signed cards, non-English cards and cards in worse than sleeve-playable condition are not accepted. The store has also offered appointment-based buying with up to a 35% store credit bonus ahead of MagicCon Atlanta, and the owners attend large events including MagicCon in Atlanta and Las Vegas.
Local pickup for singles works through an order placed in advance with the local pickup shipping method. Singles are stored and fulfilled at a larger off-site location, so they are no longer available for instant pickup at the storefront. Pickup runs in two daily windows, and an order placed by 5 PM can be picked up the same day. Orders not picked up within 30 days are refunded and the cards return to inventory.
Shipped orders usually go out within one business day. Singles-only orders ship tracked ground for $1.99, and orders totaling $200 or more ship free. Refund requests must be made within 48 hours of receiving the product.
Magic events are the store's main organized activity, and tournaments can be preregistered online. A Commander with Creators event is also on the calendar. The local community keeps up on events, new product highlights and offers through a Moscow-based group for the shop.

The store sits on West 3rd Street in downtown Moscow, Idaho.
The shop grew out of one player's passion project and expanded into a store serving both collectors and players. Growth in 2025 pushed its singles inventory beyond what the storefront could hold, which is why fulfillment moved to a larger site off premises.
Moscow has several other game and hobby stops within a short walk: Hodgins Drug and Hobby is 0.1 miles away, Safari Pearl Comics is 0.2 miles away, and Superior TCG is 0.3 miles away. Palouse Games in Pullman is about 8.4 miles from the store.
