Game Nerdz

Game Nerdz is a card and tabletop games retailer based at 3110 N Shiloh Rd, Suite 100, in Richardson, Texas. It carries Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Flesh and Blood, and it sells a good deal beyond cards: board games, role-playing games, miniatures and hobby paints. It suits collectors and players who buy new, sealed product and plan ahead, since a large share of what the store moves is on preorder.

What's on the shelves

Trading cards are sold brand new and factory sealed, and the four card games above form the core of the range. Magic: The Gathering and Flesh and Blood each have a card list search tool that lets a shopper look up cards by product line.

The rest of the stock is wider than a typical singles counter. Board games, table top games, Dungeons & Dragons and other role-playing games sit alongside miniatures, paints, dice, collectibles, supplies and deckbuilding games from many publishers. Other collectible card and living card games turn up in the preorder lineup too, among them Marvel Champions LCG, Star Wars: Unlimited, Final Fantasy TCG and Neopets Battledome TCG. Gift cards are sold for anyone shopping for a player.

Preorders and release dates

Preorders are a large part of how the store works, and upcoming products are posted with expected release dates and a set release day notification option. Dates, images and contents are subject to change without notice, so a preorder date is a target rather than a promise.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Maze of Machines 1st Edition booster box shows how it works. It is expected on March 19, 2027, at a preorder price of $66.47 against a $107.76 list price. The set holds 153 cards, and each box contains 24 packs of 7 cards. Bulk discounts apply on that box, starting at $1.50 off per box when buying 2 and rising to $3.50 off per box when buying 10 or more, with a purchase limit of 11 units. Free shipping applies on some orders.

Hobby supplies follow the same pattern. The Acrylicos Vallejo Squidmar Color Mega Set, with 72 paints in 18 ml bottles, four miniatures, an exclusive large-format miniature and a brush, is on preorder at $314.97 for an expected October 22, 2026 release.

Store policies

Returns are not accepted on any trading cards, a rule the store applies to keep its inventory intact. Because trading card product is sold factory sealed, that policy covers every pack, box and set. Orders can also be placed by phone, which suits buyers who would rather talk through a large preorder.
